I'll support the Kansas City Chiefs with AFL "solidarity" (my home-team is the unfortunate Denver Broncos). I may watch parts of it, but the whole thing has become such a cascade of commercials, promos, and other tiresome interruptions that I find less and less about these spectacles to enjoy. Plus, again this year, the stench of liberal politics will be in the air like a fart in a crowded elevator.... Hint: back in the time when America really was "great", we were one nation, with one flag, and one national anthem!
We Zelle’d Nerd’s BFF $100 in July when she was in Vegas. All on the Chiefs to win the SB. We’ll be getting a $750 check from Vegas, soon. Woot!! What an interesting Super Bowl.
As a lifetime Bear’s fan, I was cheering for the Lions; because, I’ve always had a soft spot for Sanders. Always. But, since my Nerd husband is a lifelong Chief’s fan, I have to go that direction once Bears, Lions, AFC North and Miami aren’t an option anymore. LOL.
I reckon that game could be played in 15 mins. Why bore the shit out of us for all that time when all that matters is the last 15 mins?
The first quarter was boring and completely saturated with commercials, promos and other delays. It wasn't much better throughout the entire first-half. Then came the halftime show (which hasn't been worth a damn since Lady Gaga's magnificent halftime performance in 2017), and that meant changing the channel to "America's Funniest Home Videos" until the actual beginning of the third-quarter began. But, yeah, what really mattered was the last 15 minutes of regulation play, and then, of course, that nail-biting overtime! Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs! Next door, here in Colorado, we are your football rivals (when our Denver Broncos aren't making embarrassing, incompetent asses out of themselves) -- but we are also your AFC team "cousins", who're always happy to see nearly anybody beat San Francisco! Go for a "Three-peat" next season! It's certain that the Broncos won't stop you....
first half was kinda lame...I thought it was a no class move from kelce to show up his coach.. I gather from that exchange kelce has a more than normal influence in the chiefs organization many coaches would have benched kelce for the rest of the game .. being in las vegas, the celebrities made the venue more about them than the game dont blame taylor swift...she was just one of many ..and at least she was there for a reason. most of the others were there just to get attention.. does anyone believe Justin Bieber and company are actual NFL fans?? Lady Gaga, Elon Mush, and most other celebrities and rapperes were just there to pose for a picture the half time show was a spectacle made for a small segment of america..I could not name a single song by usher on a bet I knew who alica keys was ..I could not name any of the others second half was exciting...almost like it was scripted!! same can be said about the overtime game the MVP should have been Kansas city's kicker with 4 field goals, one 56 yards and for anybody that says the NFL is not loaded with steroids, please explain the distance of the kicks these days I don't remember in last nights game seeing a single kickoff return..one kickoff split the uprights like a field goal soon ,when a team crosses the 50 yard line, they will be in field goal range and most important of all gronk missed again
Your husband ought to be proud of it. Chiefs are now in the NFL ranks of winning two in a row in the Super Bowl.
I do get it. Of course if one Team is superior to the other, things will be different. But when you get two well matched sides....march it down to the other Teams line......take three points with a kick. Other side gets the ball....rinse and repeat until at the last gasp you actuality play something other than a kick and really, it was pretty easy, that last winning touchdown. What was it, a 15 yard throw to a bloke all on his Pat Malone? Never fear USA....some real stuff is coming your way and it will be in Las Vegas, and I assume it will also be on your TV sets. We are sending four of our best rugby league teams over there next week to show you a real game. None of it is just for show, an exhibition. All of it counts in our domestic league for extremely valuable competition points. Those blokes/teams coming are not gonna be there for anything other than being full on.
Well Chiefs won....bummer. It was a lame first half....Travis Kelce had a meltdown....because he was losing....and if Chiefs ended up losing.....Taylor Swift would made a song about what a bum he was.
