Regardless of facebook, we should be able to voice our opinions freely.
Where is it written that we all have to agree?

Every teacher might also be a murderer, which is why I think they should all be fired.

Would the right be this supportive if a Muslim teacher made similar comments about Christians? Just for example....

So you support ALL people of ALL sexual orientations have the new "right" to marry right?

We discriminate every single day against all sorts of people and practices with law. Following your warped logic law would be outlawed because it discriminates.

    really?

how in the heck can you even tell if anyone has gay sex unless you are

A: in the bedroom with them

b: for whatever reason the person tells you that they engage in gay sex

so please spare me your faux outrage. It's not like race or gender where you can tell if someone is black, asian, male, female etc

    LGBT is not a "culture"

2 women, 1 has gay sex and the other has straight sex are IDENTICAL in every way, shape and form with the exception of how they like to have sex.

so to have an opinion which you express on your free time should be censored by the school? What if his opinion was about denouncing the fictional Al Gore stuff and the liberal leaning school supported Gore fiction, should he also be suspended?

This is about the thought police.

I read your earlier quote before I posted.

It still doesn't explain the second one.

    Still waiting junior.

then shouldn't gays that participated in a gay pride parade be fired too for the same reason?

Not for a second. Are you not smart enough to understand someone can duck the subject in the middle of a thread?

Still waiting for an explanation on the second quote.

SARASOTA COUNTY - Former special education teacher Diana O'Neill may return to the classroom next year after an administrative judge recommended that she be on probation for two years and not lose her teaching license.
    Facts
    Correction

The following correction was published on Tuesday, May 17, 2011:

This story published May 4, 2011 about an administrative judge's order recommending special education teacher Diana O'Neill be on probation for two years contained inaccurate information about who could object to the judge's order.
The judge gave 15 days for O'Neill's attorney or the Department of Education's legal staff to send objections to the Education Practices Commission, a five-member board that rules on teacher disciplinary matters and has the power to grant or revoke teaching certificates.

Judge R. Bruce McKibben said that while O'Neill "caused objects to come into contact with her students' heads, used a gait belt on one student, and brushed another student's head with her hand" she did not intentionally hurt them. sec- are you serious? she kicked one special ed kid in the head and beat others. The parents have now settled a lawsuit and this scum of a teacher collected her $80k (that's right, 80k) salary while she was on suspension and also working in the admin office awaiting the outcome

"The misconduct was isolated to a relatively short period of time and appears to have been caused by stress or other factors," McKibben said in an April 27 opinion.

He recommended that O'Neill remain suspended for the rest of this school year along with probation.

However, it is unlikely to be the final word in the 3-year saga of O'Neill, who parents say abused their profoundly disabled children while she was a teacher at Venice Elementary School. She was tried and acquitted of abuse charges in criminal court.

But her case has been winding its way through the state discipline process since the trial ended two years ago.

Now the state Education Practices Commission decides whether to accept or reject the judge's recommendation.

The judge gave 15 days for people to send objections to the Practices Commission, a 5-member board that rules on teacher disciplinary matters and has the power to grant or revoke teaching certificates. It previously rejected an agreement between the Department of Education and O'Neill's attorneys that would have put O'Neill on probation for two years and fined her $1,100 and allow her to keep her license

You don't get off because you addressed it once and think that validates any off-topic comment you make later.

    Doesn't work that way skippy.

Since you've ducked the question about your post 3 times now we can safely assume you were ducking the subject and just threw that out there for trolling purposes.

    Thanks for staying predictable.

You have to realize that in many high schools around the nation, there are Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, and Transvestites. Having a teacher that is possibly teaching one of these students is a very contreversial and could spark conflict between students and parents, and the teacher.

I am a high school student, and we have students that would consider themselves part of the LGBT group. If we had a teacher that was openly against same sax marriage advocating something like this, they would also be fired, because the social side of the public school structure is to encourage freedom of expression for the students, and acceptance of all types of people, regardless of sexual orientation. Even something as simple as a teacher making a comment on his facebook page gives the wrong impression to the students and parents of the school district that the school may not be as socially accepting as they thought.
