I thought it made perfect sense after one reading. I'd only suggest adding a space between each rule.
Next time, don't mention any details about the game at all. Just type, "Let's do this thang." Governor will jump right in without any confusion.
Yeah perfect sense... "The object of the season long contest" coupled with "but based on history, that's doubtful(my guess is that by week 8, it'll be over" So the game will probably not last all season, yet it's proclaimed initially as a "season long contest." quite possibly the game may last a single week, if only one person's choice wins the initial week...
or how about "I reserve the right to amend rules" So really the rules are arbitrary; there are no rules... .
I am going to pick the Seahawks every week. Losing strategy? I think not. Some weeks you have to pick the winner and other weeks you have to pick the loser.
We play this game at my work for money. The longest went right to the last season game with a tie. The shortest finished the first week of October, so we started a second one where you had to pick the loser. Just play, bro. You'll figure it out as we go.
I understand the concept. However, as explained, at least to me...the rules are written as unnecessarily complicated. Just my opinion, but I'm used to reading technical manuals. Dry material, but to the point. You'll notice a few replies have not followed the rules as established. It's a tad confusing as explained to someone not familiar with the concept. That's not a knock on Arjay, he just needs to formalize the rules a little better.
Okay, I don't mind doing it, 'cept for some grief I got from a couple of people about the way I outlined the rules. Cleveland over Cincy for the 1st week. You got it & good luck, defending champ!
its luck, hopefully we all make it far this year cinci and carolina will both be terrible this year imo. Buffalo looks improved enough to not be an auto pick against... i say cinci has first pick next years draft
True, luck almost always factors in. I was at the Bronco/Bills game - Buffalo was truly unimpressive. Cincy could probably use "Luck"
Struggling with my 1st week pick; Do I go with a perceived "gimme"(we know there is no such thing), the Pats(over Miami) or the Texans(over Manningless Indy)?Or the Jets (over Dallas) - the Cowboys sunk me last year? Or the Bronco (over Oakland) - can Denver be trusted for anything? Decisions, decisions.
