Is Owning A Slave Really That Bad?

This sexaul slavery of Afghani boys is unique in the Muslim world and exists no where else.. Its real and its some sort of Pashtun tradition.

They are basically boy sex toys.

 

I would have LOVED to seen him captured and forced to answer all the questions about it, because I have ZERO faith in the special interest media tales about the "axis of evil that we must liberate"

 

Libya wasn't the Axis of Evil under Bush.. Bush lifted the sanctions against Libya in 2004.


But since 1970 Khadafi has generally kept Libya in the category of pariah state.

You can see what happened when he prematurely nationalized Libyan oil six months after ousting Idris.

 

If that is the case, then Americans should have captured a taliban leader (instead of killing him or Osama) and force him to answer questions about this, would have much more credebility then you or CNN claiming so.

That's ALL you think slavery encompassed? Can that person quit at will, take a job somewhere else? Do you order them in their daily personal life as in forbid them to get an education? Do you own their offspring? Can you sell them to someone else?

 

If I understand it correctly, your diagram only shows that less oil was sucked out of Libya after Gadhafi took over. That's no different then me showing you a diagram that less chickens were taken from my farm after the collapse of US government. and that means what?

 

Wait a minute, are you now suggesting I should trust what Israelis claim about Afghans? (please don't call me an anti semite, since Afghans are also semites but) to me Israel and CNN are basicaly one and the same propaganda vehicle as Fox.

As a footnote, I would like to say one of the reasons humanity is for court systems rather then Osama, Gadhaffi type slayings, sodomization and burial in the sea procedures is so that truth could come out instead of someone like you or Israel/CNN/Fox making claims without having any legitimacy with humanity.

I have a problem with obsurd propaganda and lies to justify helping savages topple leaders and create unrest.

 

Can't quit, but you could sell them if you wanted. If I were the slave owner, I would ensure they went to a good home.

My point is that as long as someone is fed and clothed and given a small amount of freedom, it doesn't matter if they work for you and scrub your floors, its not that bad of a life.

That isn't to say that slavery was a good thing, though.

 

Slavery would be a good business move as it insures a cheap labor pool. How could "business" that is able to profit like that be bad? Isn't that promoting capitalism? Slavery isn't the same thing?

 

And if you can get enough people to agree with that idea, Then you can vote someone in to enact laws to make it so.

That's the wonderful thing about our government. If you can just get enough people to agree with you, You can make any law you want.

In the alternative, Only a single person (Or a few) get to make the decisions that affect everyone. I don't believe that's going to be better. What if that dictator makes a decision that nobody agrees with?

Modern day slave? You don't own someone that works for you voluntarily regardless of how much they are paid.

War with who?

 

The rich against the poor, simultaneous little brown countries being bombed, civil war, ( I guess that's the same as the rich versus poor one), and who knows what else. Maybe China will demand it's debt versus the worthless paper we keep printing, or the highways or bridges they already own (literally), and we'll be at war with them. Who knows? You find that tough to believe?
