Bob Beckel Admits that Liberals Made a Terrible Mistake

    On a Fox Network talk show earlier today.

    By creating the dependent class of citizens they created, but then he tries to weasel away saying they did it "for the right reasons". Then he says that an "opportunity based" society is not the way to go, that there needs to be some govt intervention.

    What is he trying to say? That we need more govt intervention to undo the damage that too much govt intervention has already caused?

    Did the "liberals" make a class dependent exclusively?

    Seems to me that when one factors in the other government programs and their perpetuation, such as medicare and social security, that both parties have created entire demographics dependent on government funding.

    Give money to those who will vote for you. That seems to be the American way.

    Here's an idea ... cut off all these Liberal Children getting Food-Stamps and put them to Work ... in YOUR Neighborhood, in YOUR Schools and in YOUR Communities.

    Then get back to us on how that works out 4-Yea. :mrgreen:

    Exactly HOW does the government perpetuate a "dependent class" by handouts when there is only ONE open job for every FIVE or MORE unemployed people?

    So now you are backing away from your assertions that social programs run a muc are a good thing and that it proved lefties have more heart and all that other BS you have spewed in the past? Why the hairpin turn so quickly? Because the horrific results are no longer deniable?

    How could anyone make heads or tales of what spews from Beckels mouth? I recall the 3rd month of Obiwan's reign, Beckel proclaiming him "the best president we ever had"...I haven't paid a lick of attention to his utterances since.

    Liberal politicians make dependent people as drug dealers make junkies. Both groups just want a high-paying job and to make a profit. I mean the liberal politcians and the drug dealers.

    Medicare and Social Security are paid for by working people, which neither program doesn't propagate dependency.
