We need a forum that is busy like this one, I have looked all over, have been at heaps of forums and I really cant find one to rival this place.
We can go anywhere (I'm staying here as well, btw) as long as it isn't US Message Board. I hate that place.
BL got perma banned, I am gone from this place for good. They also banned aaron's song, which doesn't bother me as he was an ass, but it seems like every outspoken and rude liberal partisan gets banned. Where as all the outspoken and rude conservative partisans become mods!! That added to the fact that they allowed that disgusting attack on makedde to stand means tonight is my last night at this forum.
My father lost all respect that he ever had for the military during the Vietnam era. He hated that conflict. In fact he didn't even have a military funeral. He wanted nothing to do with it when we started into Vietnam. He was dead against my brother going. When my brother said he was joining the Marines my father had a (*)(*)(*)(*) fit. (*)(*)(*)(*) near drove him over the edge. He and my brother didn't talk for a long time over that one. My dad was ready to send my brother off to Canada to McGill University. My brother wanted to go. It was still early on and wanted to. Later he said he should have gone to Canada.
To be truthful my Dad and I almost came to blows over me going to Vietnam or Canada. I never wanted to go, family tradition or not. However a fith of Jim Beam and the old pride issue eventualy my Father won out and I was headed to Benning for basic. I wasn't as tough as a debater then.lol,lol
Same here took of when I was 16 kept in touch with my Dad. I turned 18 on Aug, 4th got my draft notice on Sept, 11th. I wouldn't have went except for my dad, Every generation of my father's family has fought for America including this one I have a neice serving on board in the gulf somewhere, and a cousin going to Iraq for a second term.
My half sister has been to see me once. We just got the fued settled well partly my oldest sister still won't talk to my half sister or me. My famliy was torn apart by "my Dad's family" and "my mother's family" They didn't like each other fact is they hated each other.. After my mom died my 2 older sisters stayed with my mother's famiy I took off and found my Dad, and from 15 yrs on I spent time with him , my step mother and half sister left when I was 16.
This will be the first time I've seen my sisters since 2007. After this time it'll probably be another 2 or 3 years.
Yeah, kinda like tourist fun, but I don't mind. My sisters and I are very close that why we all live in differant states/lol,lol
Well I hope you have a good time. As for me I'm going to visit my sisters but I have to wait til August 13th. Why? I don't know it beats hell out of me I guess the stars as to line up right according to my sisters or something.lol,lol
I would think a few 1000. I don't know how many she had but she is -12000 credits. at 3 to 5 per post she had to lose 2500 posts.

The music thread should stay, that's a good one. Apparently the Mods arent doing anything, Doug says to look up vbullitn and see how the credit system works I guess they have something about posts too.
Of course JP wont lose anything, she doesnt post in the OT forums, which is fair enough but we should still know which threads are going. I might have some good posts, or even a post I want to redirect someone to one day and it might be gone.

Communications are what is missing, and the reason for so many social problems and conflicts. If people just sat down and discussed things logically we would be in much better shape, its good that I am not the only one that thinks so.
