Who said that ? I don't believe I did. Just pointing out that if she was just a concerned customer she'd contact them directly, but no she's being an ass and trying to make her opinion count more than other customers by exploiting her fame and posting her disapproval publicly.

End of the day AA respond to their customer's opinions, she's just one customer amongst many more who don't want the cards so AA are right to ignore her grandstanding... their business is taking care of their customer base, not appeasing attention seeking politicians.

Sure, they just aren't very effective forums for complaining to AA customer services, they're better for airing your attention seeking opinions. I'd give the same advice to anyone asking AA to get rid of the cards in the same way.

So its ok for people to complain about the card but not ok to argue for the card? Palin can say whatever she wants just like any other person.

Because Alaska Air is a private company doesn't shield it from comment by the public.

This sounds like more of an "I hate Palin" OP than about the prayer cards.

It sounds like Alaska Airlines finally bought some airworthy planes and expect people to arrive alive.;)

If that is your logic then since most people like to eat why can't they bring their own food too?

    Some people like to drink.

    BYOB?

People could bring their own Bible for a while I suppose.

Until some godless lib is offended by the sight of a Bible and complains about that too.

This is the bitter Christian hating left doing what it always does.

    Really?

It seems to have gotten everyone's attention when Palin did it.

Libs are just pissed that Palin is beating them at their own game.

    Not yet.

But clearly the godless crowd is worried that it might be.

Ok.. when AA lets Sarah Palin's grandstanding dictate company policy I'll concede to your asinine one-upmanship.

If the company can be pushed around by the godless libs then it can be pushed back by people of faith.

Lots of local folk were on that flight. The head of my native corporation was on that flight too, along with some of his family members. But yeah, it's all one big "joke" to you liberal *******s. Never mind the fact that that was the last plane crash that Alaska Airlines had ever experienced in 12 years' time. I wouldn't be surprised if you liberal dickheads are wishing that Sarah Palin was on that flight, too. Maybe all of her family as well?

    You are a sad case.

I am not "joking" at ALL!

Companies like AA are economizing on EVERYTHING including good and adequate amounts of help, and spending time on "prayer cards" makes ME afraid of THEM!

FAR more afraid than ANY Muslim would! We are spending BILLIONS on POINTLESS SECURITY and worrying about Muslims while our airplanes, pilots, mechanics, and airport infrastructure falls apart.

Airline CARELESSNESS, INCOMPETENCE, and IDIOCY has crashed FAR MORE AIRPLANES and MURDERED FAR MORE PEOPLE than MUSLIMS EVER HAVE!

Of course praying would have kept that plane up, right Paco?

So what, exactly, does all that have to do with prayer cards and an Alaska Airlines customer voicing her disagreement with their getting rid of them? I mean, gosh forbid that some atheist might try to sue the airline because he/she was "offended" because somebody left a prayer card on their food tray. Actually, I'm somewhat surprised that they still serve food on that airline.

One truly has to wonder if you have even a clue what fascism is.

Actually, they do not have to cater to any religion they wish not to cater to - including Christianity.

They could bring their own drinks, and their own water too.

Seems like something bothers you about this.

Hahah - you just said that. Again. You denied my characterization of your response, and then immediately reinforced it through reiteration.

    Too funny.

Most people are Christian. Most people are not bothered by these cards. The most vocal were - doubtless - the Godless. Palin knows this, and is hoping that the weight of the voices of the opposite create a firestorm in the opposite direction. It may or may not work, but it's a pure form of individual expression that is taking place, with the rights of all participants properly recognized and prioritized.

It's something that you should celebrate, but it seems as though you would rather lob pejoratives.
