What have the Palestinians ever done?

Speaking for myself I have always admired the Israeli's for their daring and initiative in the face of overwhelming odds.

They are winners and America likes a winner not a whiner.

But I suppose the Arab supporters like yourself have your reasons for preferring them instead.

Yeah and trying to blow up Americans in Cairo .. and nearly derailing the Marshall Plan.. and the closure of the Suez Canal for seven years and the closure of TAPLINE.

Israel has always been an albatross.

Reagan guaranteed the safety of the women, children and old people if the PLO left..

Ariel Sharon surrounded the refugee camps and kept them from leaving while the Israeli armed Phalangists slaughtered them. The retaliation was the attack on the Marine Baracks.

Israel has betrayed or blackmailed every US president since Truman.

Wake up... unless you are willing to sell out the US for Israel..........

And Israel has been threatening Iran since 2002..........

Nov. 2002 Israel's Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has called on the international community to target Iran as soon as the imminent conflict with Iraq is complete.

Which buddies are you talking about?

It has everything to do with the U.S. Netanyahu has no more respect for the American people than he does our president. Obama is dealing with Israel exactly as I and a whole lot of others want him to. In fact, I think he should tell Israel they either stop the settlements and come to a peace agreement or they can strike out on their own.

Netanyahu can kiss my ass. He sits there and lies about how he wants peace and then does exactly what he pleases to make sure there is no peace. I have a lot more respect for a president who stands up to him than one who toadies to him and helps him attack little countries and kill civilians.

Good. Let them handle their business, and stay out of it entirely.

The help we've always given Israel was intended to help them prosper and become an integral part of the ME - not the neighborhood bully - hiding behind our support to bomb little countries that can't fight back and eradicate the Palestinians.

They're like a child whose parents have given them everything they want and make sure they never have to take responsibility for their actions. Those kids have no respect for their parents and Israel has none for us. Netanyahu's problem with Obama is that he knows Obama sees him for what he is and doesn't fall for the "tiny little Israel" victimhood excuses.

You didn't answer my question: Will Zionists in the U.S defend Israel's actions if they start WWIII?

That is like asking what the Jews trapped in the Warsaw ghetto ever achieved.

The deeds of our heroes often tell others a great deal about ourselves.

Presumption is not a substitute for discourse. Someone who indicates empathy for the plight of an oppressed people, is not thereby logically indicating support for every action committed by every person of that nationality or ethnicity.

It is possible to have genuine sympathy for the parents of Jewish children killed or injured in terrorist attacks, while extending equal sympathy to the parents of Palestinian children murdered by the IDF. These are not mutually exclusive sentiments.

The only people for whom I have no empathy, are those (on either side of the discourse) who engender reactive racial hatred and bigotry. There is no difference between a Jew, a Christian, a Muslim, a Buddhist, a Hindu, a Wiccan, or an Atheist/Agnostic, other than unsubstantiated belief systems. The Bard put it well when he had Shylock say -
