Wow 5 people get their news from that self confessed non news channel fox. No wonder they have not got a clue what is going on.

The poll isn't really fair since it doesn't allow you to choose multiple options and moreover only allows you to select from the 24-hour news networks. (The PBS News Hour is one of my principal sources of info, for example. But I couldn't indicate that in any way in the poll.) So a lot of people here may actually be somewhat smarter than you think, getting their info from multiple sources. A lot of politically-minded people, such as those who frequent this message board, are indeed basically informed.

But yeah, those who only watch Fox are, for reasons I pointed out in my last post, likely to actually be more oblivious than most.

LOL. This post reminds me of that movie Goldmember.

I've found the Christian Science Monitor to be a pretty unbiased source. Many people will dismiss them because of some foolish aversion to any religious base, but other than the occasional opinion piece, they're pretty good. I have a News AP on my phone that covers all the major news networks around the world. By reading the same news story from Fox news, Al Jazeera, Reuters, BBC etc. you can usually figure out where the middle "truth" lies.

    None of the above.

I used to read the San Jose Mercury News daily. I consider it one of the best newspapers in the country. Unfortunately, I no longer have time to read it. Most of my news now comes from the Yahoo home page. I sometimes look at HuffPo. I like the way their page is set up. I despise ALL TV news. They don't have time to get in-depth at all and is basically a bunch of headlines. The cable news channels have more time but are hopelessly biased (Fox news is the worst by far) and ignore too many important stories. I sometimes watch bits and pieces of the local news station, which broadcasts out of Chico, if my TV happens to be on that station when I turn it on. The local newspaper here is a joke.

For investigative journalism, I read The Nation and Mother Jones, both very prestigious and award-winning publications. For info on hate groups and extremism in America, I read mainly The Intelligence Report put out by The Southern Poverty Law Center. To keep up with Church/State issues and current court cases, I read Church & State put out by American United for Seperation of Church & State.

I didn't vote because I get my news from none of these. I use alternative online media sources that aren't corporately owned.

None of the news outlets have enough credibility with me. They all have too much bias. I get my news from other people.
