The old lady suckered me into seeing this one. I thought I was gonna get to see some sort of teen deathmatch Thunderdome-esque movie. Instead, it was a poorly-written and even more poorly-acted film akin to Twilight (or at least what I imagine Twilight would be like.) If you're out to see a scifi action film about an oppressive nanny-state government, I'd suggest Equilibrium with Christian Bale over this garbage.

:spin::spin::spin: from the Libs. Amazing how popular the books and movie are to the kids.

Well, they're love stories at heart. That attracts a good number of them I'm sure. I should think them to be an excellent gateway to get kids reading books that discuss the fundamental purpose behind government though. Maybe the books are better, I haven't read them. I thought the movie was painful to watch though.

Oh, c'mon guys. Those comparisons aren't nearly as fun as another sinister conspiracy.

Does EVERYTHING IN THE (*)(*)(*)(*)ING WORLD TODAY have to be part of some massive, evil, sinister conspiracy?

With all of the conspiracies that Bush Sr. is apparently involved in, how the hell does he find ANY time to relax??

Yeah, the third biggest movie opening in history and largest non sequal opening in history totally isn't good enough to overcome the fact some dude on the internet didn't like it...
