Yes, I assume Ms. Barr will be expected to pay for the couples expenses incurred from having to leave their home? Or is it just Spike expected to take care of all of that?

 

Get Spike to pay for police protection until this all dies down. That is ALL he should be expected to provide.

Or the elderly couple could just not answer the door. Or have the mob arrested for trespassing.

 

Barr isn't very bright either. She did her tweeting at the same time stupid Lee was issuing his apology to the McClain's. He had already been on the news about his stupidity and how it blew up in his face, but like I said, she isn't very bright either........

I guess I'm not going to get an answer about how you would have felt if some 'celeb' had done that to your parents...... no answer at all or m/b 'that's different'.....?

 

I would feel the same way. Tweeting is not illegal, and I would feel confident that people here wouldn't act like crazed vigilantes.

In paying for the elderly couple's lodgings, Spike has done the right thing. They're safe. No harm.

One is a perfectly acceptable opinion, one is a threat.... big difference and tweeting example #2 is not covered under your "tweeting isn't illegal" argument



Spike and now Barr were deliberately trying to put the Zimmerman's in danger of retaliation.... That way, the "job gets done" but Spike Lee himself can claim deniability. "I didn't tell the mob to kill Zimmerman" It was a calculated move. Spike may want Zimmerman killed, but is smart enough to realize there are drones out there that will do the job for him, so he (spike) doesn't have to go to jail for it.



and here's a legit question for me... I don't know what addy Rosanne has posted, was it Zimmerman's parents too? Spike TRIED to post the parents addy...

Why are they posting their addy and not Robert's address? The elderly couple Spike posted about had a son named Robert Zimmerman that USED to live at that address..... So why was he trying to harrass the "real" George Zimmerman's parents? Are parents to be held on trial in the court of public opinion because they had sex 29 years ago?



Roseanne seems like she's just trying to get her name out there again.... that she saw Spike get attention from it. She's the type of kid that believes even negative attention is still attention.
