Saudi scholar announces reward after massacre in Syrian town

A prominent Saudi Islamic scholar has announced a reward of $450,000 for killing Syrian President Bashar Al Assad, who he branded a murderer.

Sheikh Ali Al Rubai said he would give the reward to any one who kills the Syrian leader following a massacre perpetrated by Assad’s loyalists in Houla neighbourhood in the central town of Homs this week. More than 100 civilians, including many children, were killed during the carnage.

“We announce a reward of $450,000 to any one who will take off the head of murderer Bashar Al Assad, the perpetrator of massacres against women and children that have horrified the whole world,” he said on his Twitter page, according to the Saudi Arabic language daily Ajel.

Saudi scholar, echoing their country’s official policy, have strongly attacked Assad and called for his death. Many of them described the people’s revolt against the Syrian regime as Jihad (holy struggle).

lol anything coming out of Saudi Arabia might as well be discarded. The Saudi and Qatar regimes are funding the terror groups and death sqads that are committing mass murder in Syria to destabilize the country. No doubt the CIA and MI-6 are also involved in the training, funding and arming of these "rebels". Some rebels are trained in libya and turkey and shipped into Syria. We now know of ships headed from Libya to Syria with tons of weapons on-board - 100+ tons in fact. Not to mention the fact that raids are uncovering US/Israeli weapons such as military grade rifles, Uzi's [signature MOSSAD], high powered sniper rifles and anti-aircraft weapons which PROVES beyond reasonable doubt that the C.I.A and possibly the MOSSAD are also involved in training and destabilization of Syria.



This "scholar" MUST do some research as to what is ACTUALLY happening in Syria. The world knows no ignorance like the ignorance of a "scholar"

 

They are way behind the russian in that field, especially in the more "exotic" way of killing someone. Think polonium and other substance poisonings. They also don't care to kill hundreds of innocents in a plane if one dissident is on board.

Anyways, when I saw this I thought, "Eh....that number seems low". I mean if you are going to get paid to kill a country's leader I would think at least a million dollars would be the lowest amount to ask for.

Yes we certainly do. In many ways this place isn't all that different. The culprits just speak better English and hail from Europe, so I enjoy reminding everybody that they are not in the majority. Are you one of those types of people that would have been against assassinating Hitler? If you kill someone like the Assad you deserve a medal and should be considered a hero.

I'm sure Obama will circumvent Congress to collect the $450,000 reward for his 2012 campaign. Perhaps he can use a drone to make the task easier. Al Assad isn't a US citizen. So it's bombs away. Oh, wait. That no longer matters anymore.
