    It's going to be hot as hell here again...LOL We did get a couple of great storms last night. Enough that I didn't have to water my plants in the back yard, so for that I'm thankful!

    It cooled down here as well, but its beginning to get muggy after the TS and rain we had.
    Looks like a good day to evaluate the new pool boys.

    Hi guys, I have a question (curiosity) that perhaps you can help me with...

    I've been reading a bit on a new fitness site, and have noticed a recurring theme. It seems the 'experts and/or professionals' all parrot the importance of consuming (varying) but still large, amounts of water throughout the day.

    Okay I understand, no problem. I agree, it is unquestionably important to keep oneself properly hydrated. Unfortunately, the average person usually does not. Distinction being sufficient/adequate, vs truly healthy level of hydration.

    But that isn't what I am perplexed by, rather, it's the more often mentioned... "to rid your body of toxins."

    What the hell?! Toxins?!

    Anyway, to my questions: What is it that everyone is consuming/ingesting that is so heavily laden with these apparently menacing toxins?

    I mean seriously (well, kinda seriously, lol), to read the babble of some of these "experts," ... it's amazing that any of us are able to survive from day to day.

    Being hydrated helps your body to function better. The toxins they are referring to are the toxins that build up from the body breaking down food, used nutrients, dying cells, etc. If you are better hydrated, all systems will work better.
