    Sup yall

Basically wanna have this 9/11 party. I believe fear can be a very powerful motivator in society. So the theme for our 9/11 party is: Anything in the world that's traditionally considered "scary" by someone and may influence them in some way.

    Huge topic ay!

You could dress up as something that has always "been scary" in your life. Something you worry about! Maybe a type of person you don't wanna be. Or an image your running away from.

    Maybe you could dress as:
    - SOMEONE WHO'S OFFENSIVE AS HELL
    - A "weak" man
    - A poor man
    - An "unsuccessful" man (What is success? Million costume ideas in that question..)
    - Someone who isn't open enough..
    - Someone who's a blabber mouth and won't shut the (*)(*)(*)(*) up
    - Just someone who maybe has a friggen problem
    - A shy girl
    - An overly confident girl who talks too much
    - A nerdy girl
    - A stupid girl
    - A woman
    - An ugly girl
    - An overly "done up" girl
    - A "gross" girl (I think the traditional girl list may be huge... But I'm crazy as (*)(*)(*)(*) so don't take my word on it..)
    - A liar
    - A cheat
    - A "frigged"
    - A "slut"
    - Someone who doesn't love animals or like pets.
    - SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T FLOSS
    - People who swear just so (*)(*)(*)(*)ing god (*)(*)(*)(*) much!!!
    - People who are way to anal about there English.
    - Just life in general (Perfection?)

Analyse your own world and find something personal that your deciding not to be afraid of any more. For example I'm totally kinda just a little scared on the inside about making such a "wierd, out there" event! (My costume might just be me attending.)

Or something that you see in the media that just makes you freak out and distrust the world around you.

    - Rapists (Taxi cab rapists?)
    - Armed Thug
    - Mass shooter (dananananana batman!)
    - A Politician
    - A Terrorist
    - An Abusive Parent
    - DRUGS
    - DRUNK PEOPLE
    - Teens with trolley poles xD

Name more ideas.. name your own unique ideas even if your worried there "silly".. (Try not to be afraid of this event! xD)

Anyway! I hope if we learn one thing that day, it's that being scared of something isn't the end of the world. And maybe externalising fears to expose how silly they may be can be healthy for us! :)

First location I was considering is the grassed area next to riverside drive.. totally changable still. Someone bring snaggas and a barby lol... i need (*)(*)(*)(*)s with money or at least interest to talk and describe how you think the event could be made better!

I don't think anyone's too young or old for this event. Invite every person you know if you like. :)

    Talk to me (*)(*)(*)(*)s...

    9/11 Movement:

9/11 is the day you celebrate fear. Simple starting point.

You can celebrate in any way. In any city. You could have 1 conversation about fear on 9/11... an easy subject to pick would be.. yes! 9/11 :D

You could smoke some drugs on 9/11, go bang a hooker on 9/11. Lick food of your partners junk on 9/11.. i don't care! :)

Whatever you do don't let the day bum you out.. (*)(*)(*)(*) HAPPENS. :)

    9/11 Ideology:

    26/07/2012
Let's try and come up with moral justifications for what we're doing here lol...

I think if there's anything wrong in the world, ignoring it is the wrong approach, and being too afraid of talking about it is also poisonous.

I have sort of a feeling inside me that fear is one of the most terrible things in the world..

Do something you were always worried about doing on 9/11 :), it's is about freedom!

Human freedom so innate. Your body, your words your actions, they all belong to you. They are yours, and you can simply choose not to be bullied by other peoples ideas and become a beacon of what you think is right in your own world!

I think our brains aren't meant for a 21st century world with the internet and mass communication. Your all so (*)(*)(*)(*) paralysed by the highschool/"I must seem cool to the kids in my immediate vicinity" attitude that you had to suffer with through highschool" and early "family tribe" nomad hunter/gatherer "i can't (*)(*)(*)(*) off my family or anyone in the world, because were all a close tribe and rely on each other so heavily" mentality that's literally bred into you!

Things you get offended by, simply challenge your world. A truly enlightened person knows life is tragedy.

9/11 is about the total and complete liberation of your (*)(*)(*)(*)ing mind.

    Relax.

But no don't actually celebrate it that would be OFFENSIVE lol :xd:

Sounds like a Halloween party, other than making fun of being scared & having a good night out what objective do you hope to achieve with the 9/11 party?

It is my belief that for a forum to be effective the threads need to be kept roughly on topic & civil to other posters so do you regard this as being a form of censorship seeing as how it involves the deletion of some posts & if so what role do you see for the moderators?

Terrorism is a lie in my country, the only terrorism that exists, is the assault on poor children by government certified TV, religious parenting, lack of interest and motivation to use the web constantly in the elderly, no constitutionally protected right to an unmonitored internet connection, government counterfeiting huge amounts of $$$ to bail out old industry and BIG BROTHER which the Gillard government is trying to push through to censor popular social media sites and monitor your email and phone transactions.

Islamic "Terrorism" only exists in other countries where people try install that religion into government, here Christianity and the family model is pissing everyone off..
