Yes may I am not prejudging I am not saying he did it I am saying he stands accused of a crime and should return to Sweden to be interviewed. I am fairly sure that having sex with a woman while she is asleep can fall under the definition of rape.

I tend to agree he should be left alone.

The rape charge is a smokescreen anyway (Goggle - Julian Assange rape tweet).
The 'victim' tweeted how wonderful he was several times after the supposed rape but removed the tweets after the charges were brought (bought?).
    Luckily, screen shots survive.
A rape victim may well stay quiet but not tell the world how great her rapist is.

Yeah, might want to check up on those that made the allegations, as well..

One of the women accusing WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange of sex crimes appears to have worked with a group that has connections to the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

James D. Catlin, a lawyer who recently represented Assange, said the sex assault investigation into the WikiLeaks founder is based on claims he didn’t use condoms during sex with two Swedish women.

Swedish prosecutors told AOL News last week that Assange was not wanted for rape as has been reported, but for something called “sex by surprise” or “unexpected sex.”

One accuser, Anna Ardin, may have “ties to the US-financed anti-Castro and anti-communist groups,” according to Israel Shamir and Paul Bennett, writing for CounterPunch.

While in Cuba, Ardin worked with the Las damas de blanco (the Ladies in White), a feminist anti-Castro group.

Professor Michael Seltzer pointed out that the group is led by Carlos Alberto Montaner who is reportedly connected to the CIA.

Shamir and Bennett also describe Ardin as a “leftist” who “published her anti-Castro diatribes (see here and here) in the Swedish-language publication Revista de Asignaturas Cubanas put out by Misceláneas de Cuba.”

Shamir and Bennett noted that Las damas de blanco is partially funded by the US government and also counts Luis Posada Carriles as a supporter.

A declassified 1976 document (.pdf) revealed Posada to be a CIA agent. He has been convicted of terrorist attacks that killed hundreds of people.

Ardin is “a gender equity officer at Uppsula University – who chose to associate with a US funded group openly supported by a convicted terrorist and mass murderer,” Kirk James Murphy observed.

In August, Assange told Al-Jazeera that the accusations were “clearly a smear campaign.”

“We have been warned that, for example, the Pentagon is planning on using dirty tricks to destroy our work,” Assange told the Swedish daily newspaper Aftonbladet.

The WikiLeaks founder said he was told to be careful of “sex traps.” Had Assange fallen for one of those traps? “Maybe. Maybe not,” he said.

Catlin observed that both Ardin and Sofia Wilén, the second accuser, sent SMS messages and tweets boasting of their conquests following the alleged “rapes.”

“In the case of Ardin it is clear that she has thrown a party in Assange’s honour at her flat after the ‘crime’ and tweeted to her followers that she is with the ‘the world’s coolest smartest people, it’s amazing!’” he wrote.

“The exact content of Wilén’s mobile phone texts is not yet known but their bragging and exculpatory character has been confirmed by Swedish prosecutors. Niether Wilén’s nor Ardin’s texts complain of rape,” Catlin said.

Ardin has also published a seven step guide on how to get revenge on cheating boyfriends.

When the charges were first leveled in August, Gawker raised doubts that Ardin was working for the CIA.

“If anything, Ardin’s outing tends to undercut Assange’s conspiracy theory that one of his accusers is a major figure on Sweden’s left fringe, freewheelingly indiscreet on her personal blog and, until her charges, an enthusiastic promoter of Assange’s visit to the country,” Gawker wrote.

After Interpol issued a digital “wanted” poster for Assange on Monday morning, an unnamed Scotland Yard source reportedly told Press Association it had been given the documents needed for the arrest. Police would not comment on the report publicly.

Several British news outlets speculated that Assange could be arrested as early as Tuesday.

On Monday evening, Mark Stephens, Assange’s London lawyer, was negotiating with British authorities over an arrest warrant they’d received from their Swedish counterparts. Assange has vowed to fight extradition.

Good choice. I've given some thought to retiring in Ecuador myself. Nice folks, stable government, beautiful physical attributes, weather ranging from hot tropical beaches to cool mountains.

I don't think the member meant among your people.

Nothing stirs them, except maybe a Triple Big Mac and a nose bag of fries.

Or maybe this year, they could all get together, and help Rahm Emmanuel put up an ever bigger Menorah, get rid of all those Christmas trees.

You wait until it kicks in for real.

The ADL were there for a reason, and that reason is not the one that you think.

Do you want to explore Abe Foxman (foxes are sly), and we can find out what he really thinks of your Christmas and your NT?

You will wish you had never made these Zionist Jews you 'friends', of that I assure you.

For decades now, they have bled your nation, and poisoned it.

When they are done with you, they will throw you away, like an empty shoe.

There are plenty of good Americans, and men of some standing too, who know what I say is true.

Not all Americans have sold you out.

Could you maybe get together with Iolo and make up your minds where I'm from?

But moving along to your answer...

.... what does any of that have to do with ...? No, never mind. I'm beginning to think you can't go five posts in a row without veering off onto your usual topics.

Seriously. You could turn a thread on what kind of cheese goes best on potato skins into a lecture on Zionist Imperialism. There's times you just gotta give it a rest.

    Stuart.

Who do you think really wants to get their hands on people like JA, who do you think is behind his obvious fit up?

    It's not the Muslims.

It's America - you may say.

    Yes.

But, as I keep trying to tell you, America IS Israel.

IIRC, the Wikileaks made a lot of people from a number of countries and corporations, so I would not in the LEAST be surprised that the rape charge was indeed a set-up - and not by JUST the US. Here, you being from the UK should love this explanation: Remember "The Pandorica Opens" from Doctor Who? It ends with every enemy of the Doctor joining up to lock him away. See, I can tailor my answers to suit British sensibilities.

But Israel was only affected by Wikileaks in a small way relative to other countries, so I doubt it was much on their radar anyway. The United Arab Emirates would have been MUCH more affected by what was revealed (Bank of America as well), and I don't see Assange as a Mossad agent. Oh, and here's an article from that bastion of Zionist perfidy, the Telegraph:

If we were like Communist Russia, we wouldn't be having this conversation, because Assange would be either dead or "missing."

ROFLMAO....and you really think that your state does not do that? Sorry, but your state, I mean Israel.

Ha ha ha...what do you think Mossad are, oh wait, let me see, they will be an 'intelligence agency', yes?

They are terrorists, they planted magnetic bombs in Tehran, that killed scientists and civilians.

    Think about that.

If that had been JEWS, and Jew scientists, and Jew civilians, we would be hearing about it for 1,000 years.

You're off your rocker, Jack. Not everything is about Israel or Jews.

Yes, my government kills people. I'd be surprised if any don't.

But they clearly haven't tried to kill Assange, because if they had, they'd probably have already succeeded at it.

The point is that he isn't nearly as important as some here seem to think. He's mostly an opportunist. He stumbled upon an idea with worth (holding governments more accountable via the internet), but in the end, this isn't really about the disclosure of truth as much as it is about him. He's already been shown to have quite an ego, but he didn't really get his big break until a basket case with too much security clearance gave him the goods.

Yet, people want to idolize that guy too.

    No.

You, and your kind, you sow the seeds of your own demise.

One day you will wish you had respected your whistleblowers.

You are naive and misguided, in your world, there are all these competing groups, for power.

    There aren't.

We have been through this some many times, it gets boring.

Your state is under lock and key, and it imploding also.

That's why your people are murdering each other so often.

Your people are sick, there are still some who aren't, but mostly they are sick and disconnected.

I think if you spent some time living in America, you'd feel very differently about us as a people.

And if there wasn't a lot of infighting among the elites, we'd already have a police state by now. Contrary to the paranoia posted here on a daily basis, we haven't reached that point yet.

What in fighting from which elites?

    Be specific.

Now, AIPAC, or rather IPAC are an elite body, that represent israel.

    Who is opposing them then?

Saudi Arabia has plenty of money in our government just like Israel and its supporters, and while they sometimes are aligned, they definitely still have their differences.

    Saudi Arabia.

    A fine example of humanity.

    Saudi Arabia and israel.

    Fantastic.

There is no conflict of interests with AIPAC from Saudi Arabia.

    Another?

Who is the main opponent to AIPAC?

Name ONE anti Zionist org in the entire US?

Well, you have these, and you know what.....Jewish pressure tried to get those ad's taken down.

The Coalition to Stop $30 Billion to Israel advocates an end to the ten year commitment of $30 billion in U.S. taxpayer-funded military aid pledged to Israel in 2007 by the Bush administration. To further our mission, we work to inform the public and our elected officials how the Israeli military misuses American-made weapons technology and violates human rights. We also shine a light on the support that New Mexico's state government, defense contractors and institutions of higher learning provide to the Israeli defense establishment. Israel’s ongoing occupation and control over Palestinian Territories – East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza Strip – are illegal under international law and contribute to unceasing conflict and suffering. The Stop $30 Billion Coalition supports an end to the occupation and the establishment of justice and equality so that both sides can live in peace. Coalition Organizations:

    So.

    There you go.

A fine and fair campaign, all paid for, all within first amendment rights, yes?

A commendable and simple message, also..

But wait....like i keep telling you, over and over and over, the Zionist Jews do not give a crap about your bloody consitituion, or anything that you may think as 'American'. They are lying to you, they are using false flattery, because they want your money, and they want your army, but that is it.

The only people in the whole of America that are speaking up for Americans, are groups like this.

But the Zionist Jews will NOT have it.

Anti-Israel aid billboards are taken down

WASHINGTON (JTA) -- A subsidiary of the CBS Corp. removed 23 billboards in the Los Angeles area calling for a stop to U.S. foreign assistance to Israel.

The Coalition to Stop $30 Billion to Israel, which sponsored the billboards, said in a statement that it received a letter from CBS Outdoor, a subsidiary of the CBS Corp., saying the contract was canceled because the coalition "used the ‘CBS Outdoor’ name without permission" in its publicity. CBS Outdoor refunded the undisclosed amount of the contract to the group, the coalition said on its Facebook page.

The coalition is asking supporters to demand that CBS Outdoor put back the billboards.

“If you support us trying to get our message of ending military aid to Israel back up on billboards in the nation's second largest city, won't you help flood CBS with phone calls demanding that our billboards be put back up and our contract be honored to the full term?” the coalition said in its statement.

U.S. Rep. Howard Berman (D-Calif.) had slammed the group for its billboards in a June 21 letter to the organization.

“We are the leading voice in the international community, and have the world’s most powerful military, yet your organization would have us abandon our closest ally in the Middle East and allow its deterrent capability to wither on the vine," Berman wrote to the group, which posted its billboards in the San Fernando Valley. "That is not the way to demonstrate international leadership.”

The pro-Israel organization StandWithUs said it will launch an ad campaign to counter the coalition's, as it has when the coalition has posted similar billboards in other cities, including Washington, D.C., Albuquerque, Houston, San Francisco and Seattle.

"People and companies should avoid getting entangled with these anti-Israel activists," said Roz Rothstein, CEO of StandWithUs. "They distort facts, exploit the good name of organizations and companies, and harass those who disagree with them."

    Right.

If you no longer understand the jaw dropping extent to which you are all bullied, bled, and used, there is nothing more for me to say, I am off to give the dogs a bath.

    Take care
