    Actually if this thread was not a mine is bigger than yours argument people might understand WTF they are arguing about. At this point almost every post is an unsubstantiated rant as it relates to the OP.

    Come on man, this is an open/shut zoning case. We can't just ignore the laws we don't like, can we? Certainly we can change them, but there is not an incorporated community in this country without zoning laws...

    theunbubba, something really messed up went down a little while ago and "friendly" was implicated in it. It was the worst thing I've seen since I've been on this forum. The mods will be looking into it.

    You can apply for a rezoning of your property, and if your neighbors don't object, you may very well get one!

    This woman probably has neighbors that DO strenuously object (probably anonymously), and that's why the tiny town is shutting her down.

    There is more to it than that. Most of these issues are money related. Yeah Mcds could not take the competition. Some fat white guy could not take this lady doing for free what he get our tax dollars to do.

    That is not his job. Yes, he could have offered her some assistance, but then he'd have to offer everyone assistance. Part of being a citizen is taking responsibility for your actions. This woman, as good as her intentions are, is still violating the city's zoning ordinance. In order to do that, one must obtain a variance. This is Civics 101 here people. So now he's a "dickweed" and for that deserves to be dragged out in the street and "shot in the town square??" :wtf:

    Spoken like a true Communist. Zoning laws are a violation of all that America is about. They are against the basic Law of America.

    But, at the same time, they are part of our punishment for going against the God of America....... "nature's God" as specified in our Declaration of Independence, Jesus Christ.

    So, let the kids starve, or make them spend 10 bucks taking a bus to a high rent business district to get 1/2 a "free lunch".

    The Communists have rigged everything with zoning rules so that the poor people get the shaft and the rich get a monopoly for their commercial business rackets.
