I thought this was a really good anaylsis of must-win state's for each canidate. It seem's that Nate Silver gives Romney a 2% chance of winning the election without Florida. So keep a keen eye on Florida. Currently Obama leads in Florida by 4 points according to the latest poll from the State.

Obama's must-win state is Pennsylvania. Nate Silver gives Obama a 10% chance of winning without Pennsylvania. Currently Obama leads in Pennsylvania by 9 points according to two of the latest polls. Overall it looks like Obama is in pretty good shape moving into the final stages of the election season.

Unless something drastic happens between now and election day, Mitt had better enjoy his TV time because it is fast comming to an end. Actually the Republican party as we know it is comming to an end. The republican party is basically redneck white guys. The Dems are blacks, latinos, women, and union workers of all flavors. Guess which one will win? Guess which side calls the other racist ? Both sides realize that we have budget problems. Spending has got to be scaled back. The Dems think we can afford to cut back on our military now that Araq is over and afganastan is comming to and end. The republicans say we can't afford social security and medicare and that is where we should cut and spend even more on the military. Which side do thgink will win??

Nothing is over until the fat lady sings, and the fat lady isn't influenced by polls that are squewed with questions asked mostly with registered democrat voters. Obama should be way ahed being the incumbant, but his record stinks and people aren't fooled by polls or people with a known name saying, "well, Obama is going to win". What are the rest of us to do? Throw our hands up and say "yep you're right".

Well I'd really like to hear what electoral math you believe will help secure Romney's victory. But I doubt you rely much on math since you don't believe in polls. Which is odd considering how accurate polls have been in the past few elections.

My electoral math comes on the eve of the election when the American people have all voted. I can't believe that America would fall for this individual twice since he hasn't delivered anything useful tyo us. I don't want America "fundimentally" changed. I like it the wy it is...soft toilet paper and all.

Romney pretty much has to win Ohio, Florida, North Carolina and Virginia. He can afford to lose one or them if he wins Wisconsin, Michigan, and does well in Colorado, Iowa and New Hampshire. I don't think Romney will win Pennsylvania, at least not right now.

the country is the most divided I have ever seen

It's not about what is best for the country but it's about who do you like better.

I don't care who is in the office because after they leave the country still remains. I care about what they do.

Americans need to get their heads out of their butts and decide once and for all do they want big govt with less liberty or do they want liberty and smaller govt and embracing of the Constitution. If the people want to urinate all over what our founding fathers and generations after did then so be it and vote for Obama.

Thanks for posting! Nate Silver has been right on the money for the past two elections, predicting 2008 correctly except for one state (NC I believe). I trust his analysis more than anyone else right now.
