Intelligence definitely has something to do with it. An extremely intelligent and motivated black person should be able to right his/her own ticket in today's society. Even those less gifted blacks sometimes have more opportunities to succeed than whites/Asians, thanks to the institutionalized racism that you liberals are in favor of.



Blacks are more likely to go to jail, more likely to not graduate school, more likely to have children born out of wedlock and at an earlier age, more likely to join gangs, etc. The days of blaming whitey for their poor choices are over. The only people allowing it to continue are you liberals, and you are holding them back from learning personal responsibility, which is a requirement for success. But it's a small price to pay to keep them locked in as Democrats, eh?

 

That income inequality is most likely due to the fact that whites achieve more and adapt better to society than blacks as a group. Asians as well.

Notice how just about every mayor since the great depression in Boston has been a democrat. Boston is (*)(*)(*)(*)ing awesome. It's a widely diverse, successful city. Now obviously, it's not much like detroit - its focuses are different, its policies might be different, and it sure as hell isn't a torn-down hellhole like Detroit. But that's just it - clearly, there are other factors in play; factors we have to isolate before we can start screaming about how the democratic central planning ideals ruined Detroit. Factors like the entire manufacturing sector essentially falling apart due to outside circumstances, urbanization, increasing poverty, et cetera. To just point and scream "OMG LIBERALS RUINED DETROIT" when much of similar policies actually made Germany, Denmark, and assorted other countries awesome to live in... Aw, who am I kidding, look who I'm talking to. -.-

 

Let's look at Boston:

Boston didn't see mass black immigration from the south. They have far less blacks. Blacks have drunk the deepest from the cup of Democrat welfare programs. The black family is a disaster. Illegitimacy is though the roof. All of this was enabled by Democrat welfare policy.

 

They didn't cause the financial meltdown. No matter what school you belong to, Bill Clinton had more to do with the housing bubble than anyone else.

It is a real shame that America has become a 3rd world country in some respects. We have allowed the bad guys control. I believe that if we eleiminated the bad guys things would improve. Detroit is very similar to chicago in many respects. This is the America that Obama wants us to give him 4 more years.

In 1965 the Democrats forced through legislation that changed our immigration laws to encourage third world immigration and limit European immigration......so the fact that Detroit is becoming more like Lagos......and Los Angeles is becoming more like Mexico City should not be shocking to anyone.
