This is devastating. I thought Rasmussen would be much closer than this. I expected a Romney victory, but not this wide of a margin in the popular vote. Only the liberal network polls now have Obama close (losing but close). When you unskew them, they tell the same story.

    Daily Presidential Tracking Poll: R:50 - O:46

What this shows is momentum, and that's what every campaign wants. The swing state polls usually catch up the the national poll, and Romney has pulled ahead in those as well.

Romney is now tied in Ohio, but I expect him to creep ahead in the next few days. There's about 4% of the vote there undecided, and those at this point will never break for Obama.

Gallup showing Romney at 51% with Obama also at 46%. I'm telling you right now, there's no way Obama's getting above 45% in the election when you figure in the enthusiasm gap.

Finally, this interview where Obama refuses to answer whether the libya victims were denied requests for help, may be the nail in the coffin. If Obama ever had an edge in foreign policy, he's lost that with the Libya scandal.

It's very telling that you use two polls that are widely viewed as right-leaning to make your "prediction". Almost every independent analysis has Obama with enough electoral votes to win and you can't just dismiss every other poll as "liberal media bias" when they show Obama ahead.

Obama is doomed. America has had enough of his progressive ideology and basic incompetence.

By right-wing, you mean polls that don't over sample democrats. By right-wing you mean polls with the best track records.

And never mind that even the liberal polls have Obama losing.

Yeah, you're right, nothing to worry about here.

That's true, but Rasmussen was dead-on-balls 4 years ago. This year he has the exact opposite swing in favor of Romney. And you have the enthusiasm factor way in favor of Romney. Last time is was way in favor of Obama.

We can at least glean Romney has good momentum.

What, exactly, would Mitt Romney change, assuming he got elected?

Amen, dude. These stupid networks scratch their heads and wonder why they're losing their audience? Virtually all of them have abandoned any sort of journalism or tough questions for leftists like Obama and his ilk.

Sheez, even a cave man would have figured it out by now.

    .....

    1) Rasmussen got lucky; in 2008 Obama swept the country cleanly in his quest for the presidency, and Rasmussen had to save their reputation.

    2) Rasmussen is giving Romney an obligatory 4 points in every poll, so if you take off 4 points, you will be near the true polling over the country. Rasmussen is so severely republican leaning that you cannot seriously use it as credible in the least.

    3) All we watch and hear are two republicans shouting desperately: "We can do it"..."Get out and vote"...while they mouth the same old wornout jingoistic crap over and over and over. I've heard enough of "I've got a plan, I'll tell you after the election" all without even specifying what the plan is!! They presumably would leave it to Congress what the plan will be. Analysis: They have NO PLAN, and would work one out while allowing America to go over the cliff into "Romruptcy"

    4) Wrong: the alleged "momentum" is pure fiction, the very same that GW used in his elections. Getting a gullible media to go along with the farce is all they need to reach stupid gullible wonks that will believe anything. Obama is leading in all the states he will need to win; his campaign is flawless, his agenda is geared to the majority of Americans, his previous four years getting us thru the 'Bush Recession' despite republican obstruction will see him through this election.

Romney did it to himself: lost the women, lost the Latinos, lost the Mexicans, and increasingly now the MEN, along with the 47% of Americans that he says is unwilling to take responsibility, students, teachers all are with Obama.

If my cat Buddy could vote, he would vote for Obama.

The economic landscape would be totally different for the better, if nothing else (not that I think that would be the only difference).

This disinformation campaign that Romney and Obama are practically identical is full strength b.s.
They may agree and be the same in many regards. But by no means nearly all regards.

Yeah, you're the same guy that said that Republicans wouldn't gain control of the House in 2010. you aren't credible at all. Keep the blinders on . I hope you keep decieving yourself. I want to watch you cry on election night.

Are you really that f'ing dense? Get rid of Obamacare, get rid of the regulatory blocks on refinery construction, get rid of roadblocks to manufacturing here in the US. Build the pipeline from Canada. Open up public lands for drilling. The list is endless, and you aren't worth more of a reply,

I stand corrected....provisionally. Do you believe what a liberal poster says about their gender? Considering what they believe about "gender reassignment" and the "blurred lines of gender in the modern world"?

I don't believe much of anything liberal posters say. I would say "trust but verify" but in this case it's just "verify".

Romney is doing well with women actually. He's erased the 2008 advantage Obama had.

This probably has to do with the 6 month "War on Women" strategy from the left. News flash, women are more than walking vaginas.

Romneycare to get rid Obamacare? Sure. You're gulliable and naive as (*)(*)(*)(*). Even if he intended to repeal and replace it, it would be nearly identical anyway.

    Both support warrantless wiretapping
Both support arrests and indefinite detainment of US citizens
Both believe the President has the authority order executions of US citizens without any charges or trial.
    Both support the TSA
    Both are Keynesians
    Both supported bailouts
    Both support stimulus
Both guys campaigns are paid by for the same people
Both support welfare, corporate and general
Both agree that they can take US to war without Congressional approval
Both guys support tough sanctions on Iran
Both guys are hellbent on taking us to war with Iran
Both guys support the war on drugs
    Both support gun control
Both believe abortion should be legal
Both basically have the same policy on illegal immigration.
Neither guy supports auditing the Fed
Neither guy has a logical plan to balance the budget
Neither guy will close Guantanamo Bay

Both guys are the same (*)(*)(*)(*)ing the on every key issue. The actual endless list isn't things they disagree on, it's what they agree on. And here you are, hanging on Romneys word, citing a couple of things he claims to be different on, like arguably the biggest flip flopper in the history of American politics has any credibility. What a joke.

Get a clue, kid. You support an Obama clone. You want dense? Look in a mirror.

Actually he's a couple of points up with women now according to AP. Looks like Obama was a big turnoff in his last debates.

The gap is closed and speaking of GW and a fictitious lead, he did win those elections did'nt he? It's possible Obama may win but it would be foolish to think he has as wide of a margin as he did against McCain. I do think the media reflects some truth in Romney having gained some momentum.

If Obama wins Ohio he wins the presidency so these polls mean nothing. Besides when Obama was up in the polls righties were claiming polls don't matter. Now they act as if these same polls are now meaningful. Too funny.
