Well early voting is still going strong in NC. I am at my work right now which happens to be an early voting precinct and day in day out we have lines. The line currently stretches around my building to the side entrance, across the front of the building and out to the road. In talking with voters it seems to be a pretty heavy concentration of Democrats here that are voting early at my location at least.....Dont know if this will mean an Obama victory but I am hopeful. The last thing we need is 4 years of (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up trickle down nonsense and partisan votes to curtail the rights of women and minorities.

in 2008 4,354,571 people in NC voted early, this website ahs early voting in NC at 57% of 2008 with 2,511,435 votes cast, Not much to go on for NC, what would be inserting to see would be the number of registered GOP/Dem early votes in NC compared to 2008. In most of the states on that page the GOP number has increased and the Dem has decreased. Dems are still more likely than GOP top vote early though, but since in theory you can only vote once that does not mean anything more than Dems tend to vote early more than the GOP does

Democrats make up 43 percent of registered voters in North Carolina, while Republicans comprise just 31 percent, and registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans by more than 800,000.

Democrats have nearly doubled Republicans in new registrants since July—120,000 to 68,000—and this margin is growing every day at early voting sites all over North Carolina.

Since 2008, the number of registered African-Americans and Latinos has increased by 168,000.

Democrats make up 50 percent of early voters while Republicans comprise just 31 percent, and Democrats lead Republicans by more than 240,000 among early voters.
Since early voting began in North Carolina on October 18, turnout is up 20 percent over 2008 levels. More than 1.3 million votes have already been cast, 227,000 more than at this point four years ago.
Turnout among young voters is up 24 percent, and up 23 percent among African Americans. African Americans alone make up 22 percent of the state’s electorate and have already cast over 72,000 more ballots than at this point in 2008.
Among North Carolinians who didn’t vote in the 2010 midterms, Democrats are out-voting Republicans by nearly 2 to 1.

once again source numbers other than media claims would be helpful if you want to be believed
I provided a source which has links to the actual state databases, and from Maryland to Montana the numbers of early voters are substantially lower than 2208 numbers. What would worry me is that in the heavily Democratic area it is lower than in the predominately GOP area. Maryland vs Montana for example

    or gas for your car

O also doesn't want to explore energy sources in the US

wants us to be dependent on Mulsims for oil

    wake up

    Jesus is pro life

Jesus is not in favor of tyrannical gov

and as some wise person once said

Communist? Hmmm I don't think you understand the definition of said word.

Baby Killer? Got proof of him killing one...that might be the golden ticket for your side...oh wait you just being hyperbolic. I get it.

Smelled the coffee this morning...it smelled like an Obama victory. Go figure.

Sure won't if the Republicans get there hands on the economy.....at least according to pretty much every credible economist out there.

Energy sources in the US....hmmm natural gas being tapped at record rates, more oil being produced then ever, wind, solar and tidal energy being sought after, nuke plants still up and running....do you read or just like to make (*)(*)(*)(*) up?

    See above....

Jesus never weighed in on abortion.....and he gets pissed when people lie. Kinda like his pops.

Then jesus must have hated the Bush Admin, the Reagan Admin, the Bush 1 Admin, The Nixon Admin, etc

Some wise person? Would that be Santa Claus?

The democrats have pushed their faithful to vote early, the republican's haven't. This means during election day, fewer democrats will turnout leaving the less faithful to decide whether they want to vote or not.

NC is still one of the only swing states trending red in most polls. That being said you never can tell. From what I can tell in Ohio people are pretty aware of voter ID laws and early voting options. Tomorrow is souls to the polls its gonna be a long (*)(*)(*)(*)ing day lol

and I thought we were discussing what was and is happening at the time of the post not speculating

one thing fr sure though for the states that do put out numbers GOP early voting is up compared to 2008 and Democratic early voting is down compared to 2008. Not good new for those hoping for another 2008

Well, as of today Nov 5th, it's tied there.....48-48. However, Romney is polling with a huge advantage there among Independents.....Romney 55%, to Obama's 40%. Independents will probably decide it.

that and crossover voting from Blue Dog Democrats. There are still a ton of them there once you get outside Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill area

couple of things to keep in mind is that early voting is way down this year compared to 2008 and more Democrats vote early compared to Republicans which could mean a GOP advantage of several points in turnout
