Why? If the truth of everything were out there a third party candidate would win anyway.

Here is what I think will happen here.

Obama will win and a republican congress will treat him just like his democrat congress did. He gets the vote and wins only on his skin color. Yeah others vote for him for other reasons but the fact is if he were white he never would have made it.

He is a waste and it has nothing to do with the color of his skin. The content of his charter is the issue.

2016 = 20 trillion in debt! Less jobs...

Say what? I think it was a Cat 1.

So, is Obama as EVIL as Bush was after Katrina? Or, was the Left wrong for being so critical of Bush and his Cat. 5 hurricane?

I didn't think it was necessary for anyone to use the suffering of others as a political tool. I felt Shep Smith nailed it after Katrina when he said that everyone was playing politics while a national treasure and its people suffered. That was true then, it is true now.

People should either refrain from comment or help because that's not only the human thing, but the American thing to do. I highly doubt in the 30's and 40's we'd be sitting here arguing politics while a major city that is the symbol of American hard work and dreams is staggering to get back on its feet.

LOL. A Cat 1 hurricane is the worst one ever to hit the US?

Liberals are melodramatic wussies. Either that, or just incredibly selfish, since this one hit "their people", so that makes it the worst one ever.

So, the only way you can understand the devastation that can be brought by a hurricane is limited to your ability to count from 1 to 4?

You may want to learn a little about it before you makemore stupid rmarks!

This is far from the "worst hurricane ever to hit the US". Anyone who believes that it is is an idiot.

The people suffering are "bumps in the road" to Barack Obama. He's back on the campaign trail and the Sandy relief effort is about as effective as Obama's first term has been.

I have seen flooding 50-100 miles inland. I have seen trees snap like twigs in 100MPH winds... But the fact is where this storm hit and the weather patterns that it intersected with did make it bad.

A storm like that around my parts is not as bad as some of the summer storms we get with tornadoes and 60+ MPH wind gusts but when you consider where this hit it was bad.

Imagine a foot of snow on top of 3 inches of ice in Orlando.

Still FEMA is useless and I will not blame Obama for it. I do hope Bush gets some vindication here and Romney gets a boost from it.

On top of all this need, I recieved an e-mail this morning stating that generators , water and other supplies are STILL sitting in Central Park for the marathon that was canceled.

I stand corrected. I should have said "one of the worst".

Now lets answer your question on Bush vs Obama. I didn't think that Bush was EVIL or criticize him as such due to his response to Katrina. I did think he was slow on the uptake but realized the enormity of the problem. That said, Obama was on the ground running more quickly. I'll defer to Chris Christie and his opinion. Put yourself in either Bush's or Obama's shoes and offer this forum your own credible plan on what to do before you go rabble rousing.

The hypocrisy is the heart of my post.

Not really. This is more of a vindication thing. Bush and Obama are not the issue on this one FEMA is. But because the left blamed bush the right will enact revenge.

For me I agree with Romney and think FEMA needs a reboot with an upgraded OS. I will attack FEMA because I have seen the stupidity. I think you live in NC as well and you may have seen some of the stupidity I have seen. Yes FEMA does some good but they end up being the most wasteful and ineffective thing I have seen up close and personal.

I used to live in NC...

I just have that flag up because I love the state...lol

At any rate, yes, FEMA needs a lot of work...

I hope whoever is elected tomorrow will fix it someway...

    How likely is that?

    Not very...
