    imo yes, he has served his time, it is unfair to keep him in because yoko ono wants it or a crazed fan might kill him, and john lennon was pretty annoying anyway

    Chapman refused his lawyers when they urged him to to enter an insanity plea and instructed them to enter a guilty plea. The parole board has routinely denied his applications as they believe him to still be dangerous. It was okay to kill John because he was 'annoying'? My wife cried the whole night John was murdered in cold blood. He's lucky he wasn't exposed to the death penalty.

    There are many theories why Chapman murdered John Lennon. One is, he believed HE was John Lennon and he actually thought he was killing an imposter.

    People who kill (or even shoot at) celebrities and politicians never get out. That's just a rule.

    thats not fair though, you should get the same amount of jail time as youd get for killing anyone

    I didnt say it was alright to kill him cause lennon was annoying, I said it was alright to let him out cause lennon was annoying

    I think when one crosses the line and murders someone intentionally they should never get out

    I dont, he was mentally ill, mentally ill people should never be condemned for life for being mentally ill. once he's fixed release him.

    even a crazy killer is still a killer... lot of crazy killers in prison should we let them all out?, I say keep them separate from society... I hope even Andrea Yates never gets out

    how about Charles Manson, he didn't even kill anyone, what say you? the guy is obviously a mental case, release him too?

    the sentence was 20 to life with the possibility of parole, so the amount of time he has left depends on how long he lives
