Once a candidate concedes a race his election is over therefore any campaign funds used after that for personal expenses is a Federal Offense.
I think what was cold blooded were the campaign staff members trying to usie the credit cards after the election was decided.
He wouldn't even let them get home? Or at least tell them? His campaign fund will be open for years as bills, etc., are being paid. Why not pay for his staff's cab ride home? Did he snatch the drinks out of their hands after he finished his concession speech? How about the hotel rooms? Were they on their own after 1:30am? All this from the guy who wanted a million dollar tax payor paid fireworks show if he was elected?
These are legitimate costs not personal expenses. Personal expenses refer to the candidate themselves.

Let me splain you how it works in the real world - credit cards are something you can charge a lot of things onto, besides hotel rooms or a cab ride. And once the campaign is over, its what a prudent businessman will do - minimize the chances of something unrelated to the campaign will be charged to it. I'd do the same. Oh and don't let your big bleeding liberal heart worry about these people. They all will submit their receipts, and will get reimbursed. Everyone of them.

You conveniently forget to mention that President Obama inherited a huge deficit and a national debt that will take us, our children, and grandchildren to pay off. It's time for you to man up and send the freakin' bill for all his illegal and infamous activities to GW Bush...who used up President Clinton's huge surplus, our Social Security funds, and everything else he could lay his hands on to give to his rich cronies. Your attempting to blame President Obama for Bush's mistakes is unfair, untrue, and totally republican contrived. Why can't you republicans take responsibility for what you have done to this country?
My question would be, why can't you democrats blame your own guys for what they did, like Clinton reducing bank regulations or fighting derivative regulations setting the foundation for some of the housing collapse, or admit that Clinton's surplus was on paper but disappeared because the dot com bubble, something he had no idea would happen, eventually burst?
