No doubt the situation in the North Caucasus is much better than in the 90s. And this is really a big achievement.

Who says that all muslims are bad ppl? Many muslims are sober, well-behaved & hard-working ppl .
They don’t touch intoxicants, tend to respect to old ppl, more than that, in my view we all must adopt some their methods – I mean mutual assistance, self-discipline etc.
But it is a really strange to think that everything goes well in the North Caucasus and that the tourism cluster in the zone of counter -terrorist operations is just what the doctor ordered.

MAKHACHKALA, December 29 (RIA Novosti) - Law enforcement officers have killed at least seven suspected militants in the Russian North Caucasus republic of Dagestan, a law enforcement source said.
The source said six of them had been killed during a police operation to storm an apartment where the suspects were blocked.

On Tuesday, some media reported that the communist deputies proposed to introduce a visa regime with Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to toughen control of the illegal migrants flow from Central Asia. Vyatkin also noted that this should not affect the countries of the Customs Union – Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Moscow Police Detain Hundreds in Sweep Checks of Markets

MOSCOW, July 30 (RIA Novosti) – Moscow police had rounded up over five hundred people in the city’s marketplaces by Tuesday morning following an attack over the weekend on a police officer trying to detain a suspected sex offender at a food market.

Some 560 people have been detained in sweep checks in Moscow's southwestern district, city police said on their website Tuesday.

On Saturday, a team of police officers was attacked by a crowd of 20 to 25 people at the Matveyevsky food market in western Moscow as they were detaining a man suspected of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.

One of the officers received serious head injuries after reportedly being hit with brass knuckles. The incident was widely reported in the Russian media after an eyewitness video of the incident went viral on social networks.

In a massive responsive to the attack, Moscow police launched an operation to check people working at city markets for complicity in crimes and offenses.

Law enforcement officials reported they had already rounded up 470 people during the raids by Tuesday morning. Most of the detained are natives of Central Asian states and Russia's North Caucasus, the police said.

The sweeping checks of market places continued, despite the fact that the suspected attacker whom the police were originally looking for, named as Magomed Rasulov, had already been detained Monday while trying to flee the capital on a bus, the police said.

Rasulov was charged on Tuesday with the attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, which carries a possible life sentence.

The same charge was applied to his wife, Khalimat, who also apparently attacked the injured policeman but had no part in the head bashing. The couple was placed under arrest Tuesday.

The attack has fueled ethnic tensions in the capital, whose marketplaces employ many migrants from post-Soviet states and representatives of ethnic minorities from Russia’s Muslim-populated North Caucasus regions.

Russia introduced a law in 2007 banning foreign nationals from working in retail markets and shops, in what the government said was a bid to clamp down on the shadow economy.

I never seen muslims in Moscow. I been there in 2010 for last time. You will be surprised if you go there coz' we see only white and europeans people, so impressive! France is black when you compare. I been there and u must go too. If we compare Russia to USA or to Europe, Russia is white and christian! I can promise you. A lot of people mix USSR and Russia. USSR have a part in Asia and in Orient. Russia is above all european. Did u been there? I know some people there, they been time in Paris. They won' t come back in France coz' they said France is already muslim. LOOL. What they would think if they go to New York!

 

Btw Guillaume I have communicated with a French police officer. He worked “on the ground” in a suburb of Paris and he told me that there is a pretty hard situation there. The local French ppl’re trying to move from this suburb ‘cause there are too many “new Frenchmen” lately.

 

But it' s true islam is philosophical and political and in Caucasus, a lot of muslims! Caucasus is a part of Russia. This part been in war all the time in his history. I had some friends policemen too. It' s hard to be policeman in France coz politics say them "be quiet, don' t do waves" (pas de vagues). In fact, policemen must give guaranties about laws, but mafia does what she wants. We live like in anarchy. And people who is ok with right situation, with normal money must move quietly, pay taxes and respest the law. Two sort of citizen in France, two sort of justice. In USA, in England, is it same? I think yes. In USA it' s worse i think coz' every people have weapons...

 

I' m worry coz' i think a part fanatic Occident and a part of fanatic islamic want a war. The economy of the world is crap.py and capitalists want money again and again. They make fake money and the system will crush soon. Also a big war is good for banks and for industries, for people who have money. War is horrible. Rapes, tortures, genocide is ok in wars. How to be agree with wars? I think a real politic with police everywhere can calm dow every fanatic from everywhere. Putin controls his territory and fanatics don' t live long time.
