What stalled that bill last thursday was a Demonstration sponsored by the
Springfield chapter of the NRA to get out the word.Which caused the Democrats in
the State Legislature to lose momentum and their votes.
Also the fact that citing the city of AURORA ,Ill. which is 2nd to Chicago in
population and has very lax gun laws had NO murders in their city for 2012.
Where Chicago recorded 504.

 

I understand yer point.But circumstances have changed.And for the worse.

Like how the Sandy Hook killer was identified wrong for almost a
half day.That the father was murdered.That the mom was a teacher
at that elementary.

Try again. Aurora is #2 to chicago with the strictest gun laws. They have their own assault weapons ban in place, and even go as far making the possession of items such as sling shots, nunchucks, ninja stars and some pocket knives a crime.
