Why do you need more than 10 rounds for self defense??? (WARNING: Graphic Video)

This will show you why. Firearms don't work in the real world they way they do in the movies and on TV. One shot doesn't drive the body back 50 yards, and instantly incapacitate the person shot.

The victim (and I use the word loosely, it was ruled a righteous shoot, and kinda looked like suicide by cop to me), after being shot 13 times, was STILL trying to get his weapon.

Attorney John Burris released a video showing the shooting of Ernest Duenez Jr. by Manteca PD Officer John Moody on December 12, a day after the San Joaquin District Attorney's Office cleared Moody of any wrongdoing in the June 2011 incident.

According to the District Attorney's report, Duenez, who was being sought for a parole violation and an earlier domestic disturbance call, brandished a knife as he exited a truck despite orders not to move.
Moody fired 13 rounds in 4.2 seconds, striking Duenez several times.
Duenez's wife can be seen coming out of the house and screaming after her husband is shot.

Burris believes that Duenez, who was caught in the truck's seatbelt, was not holding any weapons or moving aggressively.
He has asked the U.S. Justice Department to look into the case and to file murder charges against Moody.

 

The police seem to completely miss the curtain pulled open in the backgroiund. Could have been someone in the house that could have picked them off had they wanted to.

 

most likely he was on drugs and if it was meth, he could still of charge the officer, after being shot multiple times unless it was a head shot.
i my self would of not fired at that time, i thought it was to early. there wasn't enough threat to me at that distance, but it was that call for that officer

Yes, he was on meth. Autopsy report showed 1.1 mg/L of meth, and 0.21 mg/L of Amphetamine in his system. I'm not familiar with the latter, nor do I know if those levels are low, medium, high, or other.

 

That was pretty disturbing to watch.

OP - why do people need more than 10 bullets? Um, HELLO, to shoot at the tank/fighter jet/ armored personnel carrier when they decide to over throw the tyrannical government? Well, yeah, it won't do any good anyway. They can shoot 1000 bullets at the tank....but, it makes them feel better in the meantime.

 

The point is ... Lanza would have blown any school-cops head-off and from a distance before gaining entry, then executed everyone in sight all within any response time ... that's why mass-murderers now choose assault rifles ... no matter how many flatfoots you put out there as fresh meat ..

All I have read was that there were TRACES of THC in Trayvon's blood, extremely minimal amounts and obviously we all know that cannabis does NOT increase aggressive behavior in people. .on the contrary!

In the other hand, Zimmerman didn't get a blood test, but he recognized being on psychotropic medications that DO affect behavior which are KNOWN to render a person paranoid and more aggressive. . . I wonder if that is the reason Zimmerman decline going to the emergency room that night. . .since he would very probably have been given blood tests!

before you shoot that gun, i would throw a malakoff cocktail at it , then as the solders exit the tank, then you use the extended magazines rifle on them..
