It goes on and on. Weather is not climate. At any given moment it will be cold somewhere on the planet. But if all you do is cherrypick a couple of spots that are cold at the moment and ignore all the other places in the very same country that are experiencing one of the warmest Januaries on record... you are either an idiot or a Republican. What one has to do is take data from the entire country for several DECADES and then do some thoughtful analysis. Even during a drought it rains sometimes. Just because it rains one afternoon doesn't mean there isn't a drought. Why is this so hard for the uneducated Republican masses to understand?

Couldn't one just say, "Just because it's unseasonably warm in one area, that doesn't mean it's not normal or below normal temps in another area?" Seems like the exact same thing you're saying, but just the other end of the table. I'm sure one could pile through page after page on the net and compile some data to support their view if they wanted to, such as you have.

Please cite the high temp records that have been broken.

And then batten down the hatches...this weekend should be the beginning of a HARSH RUN of unseasonably , possibly RECORD-SETTING COLD WEATHER.

Where did all the CO2 go?

    What denialists?

Climate change is one thing, AGW another.

I'm unaware of any group that denies that climate changes.

You don't have to break records in order to have unseasonably warm temperatures. Anyway I posted links to stories from several cities in several states from several sources covering the first two weeks of January. If you want to ignore those quotes that's your problem.

    Mod Edit: Inappropriate response

When weather cooperates with AGW cult claims, it's "OMG Global Warming!"
When weather doesn't cooperate, their narratives seamlessly glide into "Climate Change"

The frauds are playing "Heads or Tails" for YOUR money and YOUR liberty and YOUR rights
    with a two headed coin....

Actually they are asking you to get your head out of your rear and look at ALL the data covering DECADES. Cherrypicking a couple of cold cities in the south while it's in the 50s in New England is not how you do science.

how is this not cherry picking??

I'm in Arizona and I can give you a personal story about how f'n cold it has been the last week... we set records, but that would be cherry picking right, just like your cherry picked stories. Just so you know, the cold we've been experiencing in the south is on it's way to some of those cities you picked stories from.

Right. The OP is the apparent denialist because he fails to mention "global warming" in his title instead calling it "climate change" which one could infer that he doubts the reality of antropogenic global warming. Heretic.

I simply can't appreciate your faith in those whose very careers depend on Global Warming. The "Global Warming " fear insures they are paid top dollar for their research due to the sense of urgency. But, who said the climate wasn't changing? The climate has changed untold numbers of time in the last 4 Billion years. It's the reason that's in dispute.

Please don't let the facts get in the way.

    Climate change?

What happened to man-made global warming?

Did libs wake up and figure out that that lie was not working and you have to change your story?

    Climate change is natural.

The earth has always gotten warmer or cooler and has never in its history settled on just one temperature as the idea number for libs to worship and protect.

The failure of the Montreal Protocol and 40 CFR 82 to shrink the "Ozone Hole" over 22 years calls all the atmospheric "science" (most based on computer simulations into questions.

Thanks to Montreal and 40 CFR 82 the US consumer and taxpayer coughed up billions and got absolutely NOTHING to show for it.

The Warmers demand even bigger sacrifices of the US (but strangely not China - the biggest emitter) and all they have to offer is computer models whose fidelity to actual observations is minimal. GIGO.

If you're gonna sell this you have to make a better case and sell it to the Chinese, Indians, Russians, Brazilians, Koreans, Japanese and Europeans before trying to peddle this nonsense in the US.

The US took the lead on Montreal and got burned. Somebody else can have this one.

Of course, the Crispa Spa project proved that the Ozone Hole was all a hoax yet it remains Canon law amongst the Global Warming Acolytes. The global cooling predicted in the 70's proved to be a hoax. The rising sea levels scare proved to be a hoax. The North Pacific Gyre, a plastic island twice the size of Texas which is so thick with plastic that you can walk across it, was proven to be a hoax. The trees in ANWAR proved to be a hoax. The point of all of this is that environmentalist lie, they lie often, and they lie big. How many more hoaxes are we going to have to tolerate before the true believers change their minds? How many lies are enough?

I love how all you have to say to get right wing idiots to foam at the mouth is "climate change."
