    *smile*

    I am almost finished for the day, and will have time to do a bit of reading into it.

    We will find a solution. :thumbsup:

    Falena,

    When you're finished with the scan or whatever. Try rebooting your modem and router.

    Disconnect power to modem > Disconnect power to router > wait 30 seconds or so > reconnect power to modem > (Allow for all lights to come back on on modem) > reconnect power to router.

    It may take your router a few seconds to connect to the net after repowering.

    I know this is a long shot at resolving the issue, but give it a try.

    Thnx, Angedras! Yea...Brooklyn DA is a well produced chronicle of the life and times of those who hunt down and prosecute criminals in Brooklyn.

    I've always been a sucker for "real crime" books and shows..."48 hours" is another good one.

    I don't have pay TV, so I don't get too many choices...but when I house/dog sit for my brother, his TV is always tuned to the "Investigation Discovery" channel.

    Okay, something strange is up with the text editor here.

    I've attempted to replicate an issue someone is having, hoping to find a solution. And seem to have stumbled onto another weird happening.

    In changing editor settings, first (about an hour ago) the Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG, would not allow me access to bb code. Now it does, without having to first highlight and click code icon, but only for a few seconds, then the browser I am currently using (IE9) automatically closes.

    Really weird. I've tried it numerous times, same result. Error message **IE Browser has closed to protect your computer**

    I can not find the conflict between IE and the site Editor. :(

    ~~~~~
    Reset to Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls, and can use bb code, and no automatic closing of browser. (however, I do have to highlight text, then click code icon).
    Bottom line, I think Falena telepathically broke my damn computer also! lol
    Never mind this post, it's a rambling test, of sorts.
    So today, the repair guys came in. Right now they're patching up all the drywall and they'll start painting tomorrow. The kitchen cabinets will be put in over the next week. It's still a bit nerve-wracking - especially on the cats. BUT - it's starting to come together. God willing, when the rug gets put in this July, it'll all be back to normal.
    Well .. Ms Cherry Bomb ... I came looking for a pic of that sick cactus.
    How's it holding up?
    Where are you in the process?
    How far up did you have to cut?
    Is it still drying?
    Did ya douse the cuts with cinnamon?
    pffft... I think she misunderstood (*rolls eyes*) your directions Gypzy.
    On the bright side, the pain of killing the cactus was temporarily eased.
    .....and all it took was a half dead cactus to drag your ass here. If I only knew. lol
    The cactus is in limbo. We are disagreeing with what to do. Not the procedures you gave me. Thats a given and thank you for explaining what to do.
    The disagreement is this. Half the side or this thing is dead. The other half is still alive. Is the trunk part dead? I say yes and cut the arms off and save them. We are in a wait and see mode. I bought the cactus soil and extra cinnamon. I got the board all set up to lay them on in the shed.
    Wait I have a question. Where the arm connects to the trunk it has a brownish hardened area. Its always been there on all of them. Should I cut above that area or at the trunk union and do I dust it with cinimon or dip it in cinnimon?
    The placement of the pepper in the picture of the New York original Texas Toast is a subliminal message that says, eat me.
    I was almost sober when I wrote that. lol
    I was most impressed that Texas Toast originated in New York. The claim that a chef ordered the wrong sliced size bread at the Pig Stand in Beaumont, Texas in 1941 is a ruse. It was Joey BigSlice from New York who invented the stuff. Its a knock off of garlic bread. Joey knew if he said "Texas" anything it be a big seller down south. Bravo Joey, bravo!
    Credit goes to Smokey for bringing this to light.
