New Memos Show IRS Targeted Progressive groups as well

So, they've spent all this time trying to find a "progressive" that was targeted...and finally found one??? Hilarious. Wonder if they'll provide the details on that one.....let's see the letters of ridiculous questions sent to them. Let's see how long they waited....or even if they waited....to get approval. What's hilarious is not even being able to comprehend the document. It isn't a list of groups that were targeted. It is a list of keywords for employees to filter out of the 10s of thousands of applications and what to do with them.

It's the IRS. They have forms that they send with very detailed question to people trying to avoid paying taxes.

So... either there was a conspiracy to target TP, or there was a conspiracy to pretend there was to wag from something else.

 

This information is not easy to find as the IRS does not disclose any information unless requested by the filer. You have absolutely no clue how many progressive groups were asked how many crimes they committed. You have a group of Tea Partiers who are very vocal about their process due to their extreme hatred of Government. Let me know when you have evidence that any of this was done for any other reason than figuring out if they were involved in politics.

They were individual letters written to conservatives only that asked about their relationships, for copies of any speeches of anyone who appeared before their groups, names of the families of their Board members, if anyone in their group EVER plans to run for office, and on and on......

 

The IRS could have just asked for a copy of the articles of incorporation from each group, cross-referenced them to the regulations governing each 501c organization class, and classified each organization as those that adhere to the limits on their political activity, and those that do not adhere to the limits on their political activity. Not that difficult to do.

It was a anti-gay group, not a tea party group. And the suspicion is someone from their opposition posed as a member of the anti-gay group and received the documents illegally. But the full investigation is not complete. You act like they were releasing tons of highly visible donors list... lol.
