They never had a case. The only reason it was brought to trial was because of politics.

It will be up to the jury to decide if Zimmerman lied or if what he was saying were inconsistencies. However, there are a few things he said happened that would be impossible. The first lie I mentioned about Zimmerman claiming he spread Martins hands out to see if he had a weapon. The defense tried to brush past that lie by having an expert claim Martin could have lived long enough to draw his hands back up under his body just seconds before he died. I don't buy that excuse. Another obvious lie is that Martin saw the gun, or was reaching for the gun. When the cops got there, Zimmerman had holstered his gun and his holster was behind his right hip. Zimmerman claimed that he had shimmied himself off the sidewalk and his jacket came up exposing his gun. It couldn't have exposed his gun if his gun was holstered behind his right hip. Then he said Martin saw the gun and went for it. It was too dark for Martin to have been able to see the gun and sense the gun was underneath Zimmerman, very unlikely. Also, Zimmerman said Martin was on top of him and his knees where at Zimmerman's under arms. How could Trayvon have even reached the gun in that position? Zimmerman also said Martin had hit him 20 to 25 times, and bashed his head on the side walk about the same amount of times. His injuries were not serious enough to have been beaten at badly as he said he had been beaten. He lied about following Martin, he said he was going to the end of the T to get a street name. He lived in that neighborhood for 4 years and didn't know the three streets in it? Please, that's a lie also. There are more, but these are the ones that I think are the ones that are provable.

 

Bullcrap. They LIED throughout to try to shore up their utter lack of a case.

The jury was not FOOLED; they looked at the EVIDENCE, and dismissed the BULLCRAP.
