    some of the episodes are very boring IMO, so i don't get all giddy about new episodes, but it's pretty entertaining. It's nice you say it's "worth the suffering" lol. i'm sure she appreciates it :wink:

    Walking Dead is probably the best show on TV right now, but only because Breaking Bad is on hiatus. And Breaking Bad is about 1000x better.

    Walking Dead
    Sons of Anarchy
    Justified
    Game of Thrones

    Breaking bad is boarder line eilte in my book, like the first two seasons of Spartacus.

    I watch of all of those and they ARE excellent but there are excellent ones you are missing:

    Hell on Wheels and Spiral are both unmissable.

    I really hope season 3 isn't going to be all about this prison vs crazy town folk scenario, because so far season 3 sucks big time.

    1/2 the time on just goofing around on the computer so she really has to put up with me. I'm addicted, I need therapy! I watch a tiny bit of everything so I at least know something about pop-culture, I want to watch breaking bad, I heard it was good. I liked Wilfred the most of the past year, and the science programs. BBT is always worth checking out and sometimes I like to watch cartoons like Archer and Futurama. True Blood is OK, to me it's a lot better than WalkingDead. It also looks like some of the sitcoms can be funny like modern family. Never cared for the US version of the office.
    Also a few good contarian news programs wouldn't be too bad to watch. Love Corber Repor. .lol

    You will have to Torrent Spiral -its from France . Its the grittiest crime drama on TV yet.

    The show is above average. I wait for the episodes to come out on Netflix the next year.

    The whole thing with the crossbow is a bit much. With so many dead, extra guns and rounds would be easy to come by. The guy would have to carry a whole bag of bolts, because there is no way he would be able to retrieve most of the ones he shot.

    It's not really about the "show", it is about the directing and use of sound. If you pay close attention to most Hollywood-style movies and mainstream TV shows, the sound will dictate to you what mood you should feel (i.e. the brainwashing effect of commercials through repetition and song). Well-directed shows are "as-is" and the events dictate the mood.

    I've wanted to shoot Rick a couple of times myself this season. I was yelling at the TV when it looked like he was gonna give up Michonne. Yea, I know it's only a TV show, but still.

    That's because, when you get right down to it, Rick is a terrible leader. He's only in that position because he's better than nothing, and no one else is in a position to replace him, but he keeps making one bad decision after another.

    Not necessarily. For one thing, the crossbow is better than a gun because it's a quiet killer. You could take out several Walkers with a crossbow without alerting any others, whereas a gun could bring a whole herd down on your ass.

    As for the bolts, they aren't difficult to make.

    I cheered to see both Milton and Andrea bumped from the show.

    If they keep taking the Carl character in that stupid direction I hope they off him as well.


    What must really stink is being an actor on this very popular show and to find out they are killing your character.

    The first season was awesome. It got off to a quick start and didn't slow down. The second season... not so much.

    I feel the zombies do need to be more of a threat in the show. It looks like that will be the case this season.

    Yeah, I was kind of curious about that...are they making them evolve or are they just running into more aggressive zombies. I don't know what I'd expect in a real case, but I've certainly seen worse when it comes to zombie portrayals.
