This thread is a little too Alex Jones for my taste, but I agree that Dawkins is more of a political activist than a scientist now. There is very little purity in his motives anymore.

I actually thought the OP was mocking those who believe the Illuminati crap. Then there was his follow up post. Most 'athiests' and I include myself- explored religion and decided that we just don't believe in god. Anyone who thinks that the Illuminati is responsible for my choice is just delusional.
