Maybe they are, but you asked me for my opinion, not theirs.

I think Marlowe asked you for your view of something. I'm not positive since I have all the Jew Haters in my ignore file. So all I see is that warning saying someone in my ignore file made a post. I haven't asked you anything in this thread.

Are you sure about that? I think its an independent agency of The Fed. And didn't it always get federal funding from the time of the US Constitution until when Reagan was in office? The part I don't get - they do $75 billion a year in revenue and they lose $15 billion a year. Who pays that $15 billion a year that they are in the red? Are they borrowing against future profits? And please don't say "social security funds USPS" or I am going to be really pissed at DNC and GOP for that.

Ah, my bad. I was responding to a question by Ronstar. As to your post:

"Most of the states that get farm subsidies are Red states, paid for by mostly by Blue states. I would think the GOP is all for continuing farm subsidies"

Maybe the Democrats should let the small government people get their way, betting that people won't like it? If the red states get hit hardest, maybe you could convert them. Of course, they just might like it...

I think that it should pay you and cut funding to Israel.. how does that sound?

Why should America cut its spending for its citizens and maintain its spending on some jews it doesnt know!

You shouldnt scrape the bottom of the barrel to help people

I dunno, it seems more likely to me that people who were already Republicans would watch Fox, not the other way around in which people watch FOX then turn Republican. Sort of like how I seriously doubt anyone who wasn't a Democrat in the first place would watch MSNBC. I think you're putting the cart before the horse on this one.

From a platform perspective I like the Libertarian Party and vote for them fairly exclusively. The party is irrelevant though. Nobody will ever get the kind of funding DNC and GOP gets, and the mainstream media will never allow the LP in those DNC vs GOP debates because the advertisers that pay to keep those media companies in business are the same companies that donate billions every year to the Super PAC's. So at best Americans can be interested in politics but just need to save money, work hard, and expect that government will screw them more often than not. I know that sounds rather cynical; but it seems to be how things work in Washington.

I assume you know Moon and some of the other anti-Semites, because the tone of your post makes it sound like you hate Jewish folks. Most of the Jews in Israel have relatives in USA. Like in my case, where my brother is IDF in Tel Aviv and my uncle/godfather is a military contractor that does consulting in Israel. But as much as you probably despise Jews, I actually agree with you on this. I think it's horrible that USA gives even one single penny to allies in NATO and Middle East. USA needs to worry about USA. If Jews like myself are worried about Israel so much, then let them/us send our after-tax dollars to Israel from our own pockets. Why should muslims, christians, atheists, etc. be forced to pay out of their taxes to take care of Israel? Those taxpayers have absolutely zero skin in the game. Jews are the second richest group by religion in USA, barely being beaten out by Baptists. If every Jew in USA sent a mere $400 to Israel from their after-tax dollars; the net result would be exactly the same as the State Department sending them $2.5 billion a year. Not a single penny of American taxes should go to Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, or any other ME country. Let the countries in the ME work out their own messes. And if Israel wants our weapons, we accept visa, mastercard, cash, or gold. Same for Europe. No reason USA should have bases in any European country. They can buy weaponry if they are in NATO, but they need to protect their own continent. I am not my brother's keeper (to quote the bible).

Dude, both of my parents are jews, and I live in Israel and served in the military for a short period of time.

Another point, that you Americans dont know. Britain, who was the main contributor to the establishment of Israel and agreement of immigration of jews to Israel during WWII (America closed its gates during that time)... interdicted selling weapons to Israel.. while US made Israel the biggest beneficiary of bilateral aid of armaments/weapons (last generation weapons, including the recent order of F-35) everin history.

Obviously the use of the term is to identify one of the effects of the shutdown.
