A double murder, but never mind, it came from the far left so that will be okay.

No doubt there will be celebrating of murder by the left, perhaps excuses, caveats, anything but call out the murdering far left.

The government and opposition parties quickly condemned the shootings, which the left-wing main opposition Syriza said 'targets democracy' in Greece.

A Golden Dawn statement also blamed the shooting on terrorists.

'The criminals wanted to execute anybody outside the party offices,' the statement posted on Golden Dawn's website said.

'Before they drove off, the terrorists shot again at the boys lying on the ground. They literally emptied their weapons on them.'

Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias expressed 'distress' at the fatal shooting of the two young men.

'We will not allow the country to become a ground for the settling of accounts, for whatever reason,' he said.

Seems to me like some outside antagonists want to start a civil war in Greece, and turn it into another Syria for their own self serving reasons. I have my suspicions and I'm sure the Greek government does too.

 

It's the fault of those that incited hate against these young men, and it is the fault of the corrupt WJC ass kissing Samaras Gov, because all political HQ are entitled to police protection, and Samaras removed it.

Can we look forward to the bleeding heart left having a big seethe about the cold blooded murder of these two men?

The group has not made an appearance since then but officers note that a proclamation signed by the imprisoned members of another urban guerrilla group, Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire, last month called for the formation of a “united front” with other terrorist organizations, including the Sect of Revolutionaries. Police are also investigating if the shooting could be connected to Nikos Maziotis, a member of another group, Revolutionary Struggle, who is currently on the run from authorities. Last month, police linked Maziotis to an armed bank robbery. The fugitive issued a statement via the Indymedia website denying he was involved.

As far as I am aware, the Greek police are rightly treating it as an act of political terrorism and murder.

Of course, we have already had one person on here near on celebrate the murder of two men who were doing no harm. Interestingly, there were also incitement calls to violence on a thread here just a couple of weeks ago. Including one person who actually stated that shootings would be feasible. If the Greek police had their act together, they would be looking at such sentiments, esp expressed just before they happen....

 

I understand your points. I'm just wondering, if the heads of the Left wing parties are going to be imprisoned because of the two right wing men being assassinated based on recent past practice. Greece may end up running out of politicians unless the Left-wing took control a few weeks ago by arresting their political enemies on a pretext.

Economically the Nazi Party was further left than many modern European Labour parties.

If anything, western countries will now probably start pouring money into Golden Dawn (just like they did with the Nazis in the 1920s) and help them organize a massive propaganda effort if it appears that SYRIZA has the upper hand (which, right now, they do). Then Golden Dawn will rule Greece, destroy democracy and start murdering leftists en masse.
