if thats what NYC wants then so be it, they will end up suffering in the end. I mean they do already with having to live in rooms that are hardly bigger than a walk in closet and pay $1200 a month for it lol.

What is interesting is how this guy got the Demo nomination. He is not a progressive, he is a far left radical.

LOL I just googled and there is no study done on this, (Darn stupid liberal arts college students don't ever wanna study on something useful with the government funding) But I can tell you out of honesty most politically-aware engineers that I know of, from blue state or red state, lean toward republican.

And for liberal arts majors, the majority of them are heavily political (unlike STEM majors who are just mostly indifferent) and most of them tend to lean toward democrats.

This is particularly true with engineers who had built up a family.

And I think it's perfectly logical: liberal arts majors tend to work in public sectors as well as government funded institutes and those jobs don't usually pay much, so they'd love to see others got regulated and more govt. dough coming their way.

Interesting thing is most wall st. buttocks (excuse me language), business analysts, branch managers, professional stock brokers and speculators tend to be democrats' supporters. So I always laugh at some conservative pundits when they try to paint the democrats as a whole bunch of radicals teleported from 1960 russia. They got their fair share of capitalists.

And 50-50 chance that political science majors lean toward both sides.

Oh and Asians tend to vote democrats no matter what they do.

Aww could you be more specific? I know what "computer engineering" is, a few self-taught code monkeys wrote a few lines of code and they started to think they are Ken Thompsons.

I've lived in New York my whole life and it is being slowly destroyed by high taxes on the middle class. I've lost at least 20 young RN's and NP's to other states. It doesn't matter what the 'party' is. NY is taking a slow nosedive and the productive middle class is leaving. With a 55 BILLION dollar medicaid bill there isn't going to be enough money for any left wing extreme liberal to steal from. I will say this Deblasio clown will create more dependents by taxing those that work for a living. It's the liberal motto.

Ah, so you have no evidence of your first claim, so you back it up with more unsubstantiated nonsense? Most bankers, and Wall Streeters are Dems? This is from your own experience too I suppose? Hillarious.

And... nobody's gonna be doing nothing about it.

Darn it the USSR failed to destroy it from without.

No, not necessarily bankers, most bankers I know of are non-political, even if they are, they wouldn't tell it. "Hey I'm a huge supporter of the republican, how may I help you today?"

On the other hand, a 100% rate of business analyst that I met are pretty far on the liberal side. Dunno why though, believe it or not.
