Explain to all of use how the federal government is needed to create businesses and make the world turn? How would Uncle Sugar exist without corporate America, which employs everyone? Don't forget that "corporate America" is more than companies on the stock market.

BTW, your signature is a real laugh.

"The government" is our creation. Our voting decisions power it. It doesn't exist without us.

Business is absolutely necessary for us to create and market and distribute the wealth that markets exchange for everything that we need to survive, much less pursue happiness.

The middle class as workers, the majority of voters and consumers, is America. The functional part.

Throughout history, that functional part has been burdened by the load of the poor, the criminal, and the wealthy.

It would be great if reality were different, but why would you expect it to be?

Saws were here long before government. The wood was here long before government. The land was here long before government. Food grew long before government. Trade existed between people long before government. Skills and creative abilities existed long before government and they will continue to exist long after government has disappeared.
What part of this don't you get. Creative abilities existed long before government.

That's my point: The government would not be there if it weren't for the People. If nobody worked, who would fund the government. We need jobs, hence corporate America. Unfortunately, The People have been unwise in who they elect to be in our government.

The point is that the government is not what makes the world turn.

what about the 50 million or so that have lost their insurance as a result of Obo care?
Some success. What your figure fails to demonstrate is the number of "free care" enrollees. There won't be a large enough base to support this debacle.
And why in the hell should I pay for YOUR health insurance?
Are you lazy, too lazy to get off your ass, get a job, and support your own ass?

Who are these folks that lost their insurance and why don't they just get the insurance that's available?

My peanut butter ran out too, so I bought another one.

typical Lib response........"what the hell do I care who lost their insurance, I'd sacrifice all of America to insure 11 million people"
    Let's t a k e t h I s r e a l s l o w.......................
First there were only 11 million people who didn't have ANY health care (Supposedly)
Then when Obocare kicks in, their [the insured] policies fail to meet the FED guidelines established by Obo himself. (He knew that if he'd figured ahead)
So, add to the 11 million another 50 by the time it's done. Odd that these people HAD insurance BEFORE Obama started his reign of terror.
sacrifice 50 million plus to cover 11 million.......only a Lib would consider that fair

The 50 million again. Insurance is available to them. If they don't want to be personally responsible for their own health care they can offset some of what they could well dump on others through penalties.

    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2013/...ms-due-to-routine-factors-not-nbsp-Obamacare#

While there are unquestionably anecdotal stories of soaring increases in insurance premiums it appears that overall the cost increases in private health insurance is being driven by normal increases in medical service cost as oppose to Obamacare.

It can also be noted that the expansion of Medicaid is not driving any increase in the costs of private health insurance regardless of whether its from the exchanges or from private individual or group health insurance policies. The insurance companies don't fund Mediciad.

You're right................it is being driven by the taxpayers who are now picking up the tab for all the new deadbeats who refuse to be responsible for their own health and welfare.......

Despite the rants of the "teapublican" party, the ACA is a success. The conservative argument that the ACA is a disaster is "true" only when it's a self-fulfilling prophecy: Most of the negative consequences that the Obamaphobes have warned against have occurred only in those places where right-wingers have subverted implementation of the law.

What supporters of the ACA must keep in mind, however, is that Americans who live in states where implementation has been stymied may continue to see the act as a failure and continue to blame President Obama and the Democratic party.

Obamacare IS working for millions of Americans including myself. If you think that losing your bogus "junk" policy is offensive, try getting denied coverage, hitting pay-out limits, or being dropped for no reason.
I hate to think of the GOP alternative... which is nothing but more of the same disfunction. Do they really think that it's best to let the uninsured live off of those with insurance? Because that's exactly what is happening. Everyone should have a solid policy.
