For the 3rd time recently......Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid stood on the U.S. Senate floor publically and personally slandering and attacking two U.S. citizens. Here's the latest he said about the Koch Brothers as he tries to create a much-needed boygeyman to try and save his position:

“I guess if you make that much money, you can make these immoral decisions,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “The Koch brothers are about as un-American as anyone I can imagine.”

Now, if I had their money, I would willingly spend some of it to sue this man's arse off. He is slandering them publically and from the Senate floor.

I realize he's rather cranky and desperate right now.....seeing as how he's reading the writing on the wall about what's going to happen to him this November.....but he's legally wrong in slandering U.S. citizens publically in this manner. I'll put the good causes that the Koch Brothers contribute to up against anything Harry Reid does any day of the week. Reid is a tired, sorry, pathetic old man.

Isn't it odd that back when the liberal Soros-supported Move-On.org ran ads against General Patreus calling him General BeTRAYus, old Man Reid said NOTHING about it. NOTHING.

It's time for Harry to go......

The Koch brothers deserve to be slandered and ridiculed at every chance. Good for Harry Reid.

The Koch's are public figures. Commenting on them publicly is not slander.

So the constant description of the self-made billionaire and American citizen George Soros as a "Marxist" and "commie" by righties here on PF is A-OK?

They aren't public figures. They aren't elected officials... If you think they are public figures, then so are you, would you mind if someone got on TV and slandered you publicly? I bet not.

Yeah, because PF is the Senate floor and we are ALL elected officials. How dumb of a post.

They are not public figures. Odd. Why do I know who they are? Why do you know who they are?

Calling them "un-American?" That's not merely commenting on them publically; that's insulting and certainly NOT true. With all that's going wrong in our country and ALL Harry Reid can involve himself in is publically insulting the Koch Brothers? Sorry....but like every other American, the Koch Brothers can contribute to any political party they want to. I know Harry is upset that it's not contributions to his party....but oh well; too bad.

This is a political discussion and debate forum. It's NOT the floor of the U.S. Senate. And we are NOT the Senate Majority Leader.

Yeah, nothing to do with anything I said. I did not endorse Reid's comments, and frankly I dont give two (*)(*)(*)(*)s about them. My only point is the Koch's are public figures.

Yeah, calling someone un-American is insulting and certainly not true which is why Republicans do it all the time.

The 'do as I say, not as I do' routine.

    - - - Updated - - -

I don't like the Koch's either, but they are certainly American and in the public.

And then there is THIS un-American guy. This evil multi-Billionaire who made his money being a Hedge Fund Manager....who is spending $100 million this election cycle pushing climate change and trying to unseat anyone who doesn't believe in it. He's trying to buy elections; he's rich; he's got to be evil, right??? Oh wait. No.......can't be. This guy is a DEMOCRAT trying to buy elections, so you won't Harry Reid demonizing him and trying to make him in to a bogeyman. Nah....this rich guy is A-Okay with Harry. :)

"Billionaire Tom Steyer plans to spend as much as $100 million pushing the issue of climate change in the 2014 election, and appears primed to rival the deep-pocketed and conservative Koch brothers, according to the New York Times's Nicholas Confessore.

Confessore reports that Steyer, one of the world's most successful hedge fund founders, is "seeking to pressure federal and state officials to enact climate change measures through a hard-edge campaign of attack ads against governors and lawmakers."

Steyer previously played a big role in the Virginia governor's race, spending millions on now-Gov. Terry McAuliffe's (D) successful campaign."

Yepper, that Dem is out buying elections....and nary a word from Harry Reid about it. :) :) :) Surely ole Harry realizes why everyone is laughing at him!

Harry Reid is like a mummy corpse. He needs to turn to dust already. The guy is a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing disgrace and embarrassment to this country. The war is lost, right Harry? I hope you catch the clap.

Liberal simply can't help themselves when insulting American citizens. Just like the cops that 'acted stupidly'. Of course there was a national outrage when Limbaugh (an entertainer, not an elected official) called that liberal plant a slut, and rightfully so. Of course she was so butt ugly I'm betting getting knocked up isn't a major concern for her.
