This McCarthyism is getting out of hand. Is everyone going to have to fill out a political positions test before you can get a job now?

Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. They'll attack the CEO of Mozilla for holding the same views as that of the President they so adore.

Well obviously! But that's because that's what's best for the nation . . . uh . . . that is, until ideological preferences perform a cultural flip-flop and leftwing radicalism is no longer the ideology that gets a free pass across the board. Then, of course, our leftwingers would begin howling in anguish about fascism and so forth and so on.

I saw an article in the WSJ today that companies are getting rid of their HR departments. I think I know why.

Wellllllllll . . . in reality that could be a result of Obama's dismal economy. It's possible that they simply can no longer afford to maintain HR departments and still remain in business.

Funny thing about this little stunt, it that it only works until it doesn't. The first company that actually comes out swinging against these losers will end this little tactic for quite some time to come...

Actually the boycott is code for ideological fascism. Something that leftwingers have been accused of supporting as a principle in times past. The irony being that they have always bitterly denied. Now of course it's obvious that all of the charges were 100% accurate all along. Sweet!

Yes, and will expose the leftwing fanatics for what they have become in only five brief years.

They started before that, the difference was they kept the focus almost entirely on Bush, now they are branching out as the they have been freed up from that endevour.

Same here. I don't get it. People are allowed to have their voices heard. That's a major good thing about the USA. Why are conservatives so against that?

Oh, I think you've bothered plenty. Just look at this site.

Yet the internet is international and anyone can participate regardless if the outcome is in their personal interests or not. In the end this foolishness will only denigrate the opinions expressed on the internet, not strengthen them...

So answer this question- if a company hires someone that many of their customers have an issue with, should those customers be forced to give their money to that company? Or do they have a right to vote with their wallets? And it does work both ways. Chick-Fil-A did just fine. You were all pretty happy with that. People have a right to have their voices heard, period. Or do you think they should not? The fact is that Rice is pretty controversial. She's probably not the best person to represent DropBox. That would also apply if she were a controversial liberal. I don't think Hillary Clinton would be a good choice for DropBox either. That's asking for trouble. They'd get just as much flak for that, and they should. It would simply be an inappropriate appointment.

Exactly, the internet is one of the last places we have to make a difference. That goes for everyone.

Don't you see the real problem yet? This has everything to do with the actual reality that these radicals and losers cannot effect anything with their wallets and instead are trying to force their opinions or agenda through media. It has a limited shelf life, and I really don't care if they want to waste would could have been a powerful tool on petty things...

Conservatives have never really mobilized online for anything, they are far more likely to mobilize in the traditional manners, as they did with Chik-Fil-A, they used their actual wallets to do their talking. That is why the result was far more lasting and far more effective, and of course far more marginalized by the media when the results were so obvious...

The Internet is an inherently progressive concept. Saying conservatives can harness the power of the internet is like saying a blind person can harness the power of binoculars

I'm not wrong. The Internet is ever-changing, ever expanding and ever-adapting. So is progressivism. There is nothing traditional or conservative about the internet. The internet has put the conservatives at a disadvantage.

Sorry, its just another tool that can be used by anyone, there is no inherent advantage to any one group.
