I was going by its literal meaning and I wouldn't say there was no mental life just because brain waves aren't consistant.

Better yet, why don't right-wingers move to Russia where they can swoon at Putin's bare chest and root for their favorite thug, and the rest of us can work to clean up the US from the mess your kind left behind.

I don't believe the 'far right' approved of NAFTA, or the other billion dollar waste projects. Blaming trickle-down only goes so far. What about Education, and the pitiful lack of investment? Meanwhile, Teachers Unions get lavished with benefits.

Or are failed Liberal policies also the fault of the 'far right'?

The tax structure will be repaired, the deficits will give way to surplus, the distribution of wealth will become less concentrated and the US will return to substantial growth, the waste of military spending will be reduced, and America will once again be the shining city on the hill....

You see right and left in all the wrong places .

Established communism will get rid of the mental conditions that cause insecurities and without them not even traditional conservatives will have a reason to exist.

BS, progressives are trying to insinuate their version of utopia using government force. Same as the religious right. Your law will treat everyone as equal, equal slaves to the State.

The idea that conservatives will simply go away with age is very flawed as it the idea that people "never change" in regards to social issues. Note the fact that young people are becoming more and more against abortion as time goes on.

Not the same as the religious right. In fact, I can't think of anything proposed by the religious right that even begins to compare with the totalitarian regime the Left is trying to birth.

    Another bad try. :)

I don't know who the hell you think you're kidding. If you didn't know what it felt like, you wouldn't be trying, however ineffectually, to provoke it in yours truly...

    ...at every opportunity. :)

You are incorrect. Every distinct human being begins at conception. You know this is true so quit being coy!

No sperm or ovum ever becomes a human being without conception.

Mental life is a nonsensical concept and does not justify committing homicide.

ya that's just so wrong, morality ethics society is constantly evolving always more liberal as each generation comes of age...today's 50+ were considered radical revolutionaries when they were young adults, now they're grumpy conservatives...and in 40 yrs today's liberals will be viewed the same way by kids in grade school today...

Why is education the enemy of religion? Do you even think before you post?

do you ever think before you post? ...science/education vs religion? religion will lose...wherever education levels increase religious observance/participation decreases ...atheism is growing everywhere quality education is available to the public ...

I have two degrees, and am Christian.

    Whups.

You are confusing brainwashing anti-religious secular zealots in education with actual education.

Oddly it's the Left that teaches children not to apply critical thinking skills and to blindly follow the socialist agenda. And then you have, on the other hand, astounding scientific breakthroughs throughout history by Christians. And prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Yale were founded by Christians. All the evidence militates against your brainless claims. I can't even dumb myself down enough to talk to you any further.

LOL, yeah sure. There was a PEW study done back in 2007, atheism and agnosticism were running at about 4% of the population. So they ain't growing that fast, bub. And a quality education is available everywhere? I don't think so, last I checked the academic scores for American kids is well down the list compared to other countries. Why do you suppose hundreds of families show up trying to get their kids into a charter school rather than the public ones?

How much science/education is necessary to convince you that you are not over-taxed?

lots and lots of theologians have degrees so what...and a hundred years ago just about everyone who had a degree was a deist, but educational enlightenment grinds on and the stats speak for themselves as education levels increase the belief in the supernatural decreases...

how much education is necessary to convince you that taxes a requirement to run a country?... can you maintain your home without cash? ...can you maintain your health without cash?...just as your house is your home your country is your home as well, and they both require substantial investment to run...
