If the Jesus people have the same Spirit in them that wrote the bible

Why don't they write some new books for their bible?

I asked that to someone once, and they said "there is a curse on anyone who adds anything to the bible".
Now granted, there is a verse in the last book and last chapter of Revelations that curses anyone who tampers with "that book", it certainly didn't refer to the bible because Revelation was written about 100 AD, and the bible over 200 years later.

So if the bible was written by the same spirit in jesus people, why don't they update it and put some new writings in there?

The answer is "because the roman emperor produced the bible, bound in leather, and demanded that nothing new be added.

So, the guy who produced the bible "told God to shut up".

So if the jesus people have the same bible writing spirit, then they ought to write some new stuff and tell us what God has to say nowadays.

Could you just imagine reading a Book Of Oral Roberts, or Book of Pat Robertson, or Benny Hinn? hahahaha

Surely Billy Graham, the great holy spirit teacher, out to be able to write a new book for that bible. They all pretend to speak for God anyway, put it in the bible. Surely God still lives and has something to say.

 

The Bible was written by Jews and later Christians. Paul may have been a Roman citizen, but he was also a Jew until he converted.

Are Homo sapiens all that different 2000 years later. We don't need to add anything more because what's in the bible is what we need for salvation.

Also, the Roman Empire had no idea which of the books should go in the Bible. That was up to the Bishops.

 

The bible wasn't written by jews and later Christians. The gospels were written by believers, and the writings attributed to Paul are heavily edited writings by whoever. Writings didn't get notorized back them.
As for what went into the bible goes, the bishops in rome were "simonists" - they paid money for their bishophood. Lots of hanky panky went on, such as a number of murders the night before they voted on a trinity.
The emperor had the version of the bible edited several times, and then sent it to Alexandria for more editing.
Also, for 300 years after Christ, gthe romans murdered believers and stole their scriptures after searching for them, and they eventually destroyed them. They wanted the scriptures for the same reason simon magus wanted Holy Spirit POWER. They wanted the power and therefore needed to kill the believers and try to find out how they got that power, and they searched the scriptures searching for the secret to obtaining that power. Same as every jesus preacher today. They all want power , because power means money. And everybody loves a miracle worker.

Constantine was thought to be a Christian because it was alleged many years after his death that he saw a cross in the sky at millvale bridge battle.

The cross was a mithra symbol, and pagan soldiers worshipped mithra before battle and carried the mithra cross.

And as far as the bible having all you need for salvation, I will remind you that the NAME of God is YAH, and the name of his son is Yahushua, and his name is his testimony and required for a crown of life. He said "because you have kept my name and my testimony, you will receive a crown of life".
The name of YAH and the name of Yahushua was taken out of the bible, so the bible has nothing needed for salvation.

What does "YAH IS SALVATION" MEAN TO YOU? THAT JESUS IS SALVATION? AND DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT OF YAH AND YAHUSHUA WOULD REALLY COME IN THE NAME OF JESUS? AND DO LYING SIGNS AND WONDERS, AND FAKE MIRACLES, AND GIVE LYING WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE?

Peter called Yahushua by his name, and said "there is NO OTHER NAME given to men under heaven whereby we must be saved".
jesus is "ANOTHER NAME". The important thing about the name of Yahushua is that it contains the name of God, and a promise of salvation.

My question was simple, and I've already shown that the bible doesn't have anything sufficient for salvation, as Yahushua said , "search the scriptures, for in them you think you have salvation". Show me the name of YAH, and Yahushua, and since we are to be baptized in the "NAME" OF THE FATHER , SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT, SHOW ME THE NAME OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, YAHUYAH IN THERE TOO.
The name of Yahushua means, YAH is Salvation, if you know that, how can you endorse the bible as valid.?

The Old testament Hebrew patriarchs acted just the same way as does Islam, today.
The Hebrew exterminated sexually promiscuous populations of people so their kids would not be seduced into it.

But today, through the New Testament, we are to use Facts and studies to show you, that it causes wide spread Child Abuse and destroys nations which practice it.

Yes, I do, that's why I don't believe in superstitions that involve talking snakes, talking donkeys, magic flying invisible people ("angels"), walking on water, a magic dead zombie from Nazareth, etc., and neither should other people who value science, reason, common sense, evidence, and critical thinking. If the magic book didn't promise you an after-life, then you likely wouldn't believe all that nonsense either!
