I got this in my E-mail and thought I'd pass it on...

I first found it amusing, then sort of tragic...I particularly note the muslim/gun owner paradox...

this ceases to be confusing when you take one fact into consideration - our socialistically inclined liberal brethren are in such a hurry that they have simply cut out everything between the first half of number one and the second half of number six. this leaves us with "america is capitalist and greedy, so they want us to be like all those perfect countries". when we are rushing toward perfection, who has the time for all those other words?

When you realize more and more corporations are running the government, its not such a conundrum anymore.

They bailed it out of bankruptcy, and then sold it at a loss. Who do you think wanted the bailout? Maybe the private business owners?

I weep for our gradually degrading nation now, because leftwingers will probably make doing so illegal in the future.

Oh no, Obama wanted to payback his union friends. And it was also a Trial balloon to see if he and his brain-dead administration could run anything.

Yeah, shareholders got pennies on the dollar. And the workers jobs were not really in jeopardy. And the union bosses kept their jobs too.

Why should military industrial complex goons, and their families get extra welfare for murdering innocents abroad?

Why should the working man's tax dollars fund that?

Well, that's quite a lot of stuff there.

We were "capitalist and greedy" long before this many people were subsidized. Problem is, there are now a very few people who own everything, and fewer jobs, lower paying jobs. So people gotta get subsidized or starve in the street.

    See above.

The people are not represented, only monied interests...

Which proves the point I just made.

Well, yeah, if you count second and third world countries. As the only superpower, we should expect more than that.

This is where they are wrong. America doesn't need to be like other countries; America needs to be like America is supposed to be. Like it used to be before corporations were people and money was speech. Back when the people were represented.

    True that.

Welfare and food stamps are state run. SS is federal.

We definitely should not cut benefits, those were promises made and should be kept. Military should get raises to keep pace with inflation. But we should have cut our military back drastically as soon as the Cold War was over. Illegals should get nothing but a free trip out of the country.
