President Obama claims he was only repeating what the intelligence community told him when his administration asserted that the attack in Benghazi began with a spontaneous protest inspired by an Internet video. If that’s the case, there is a simple way to prove it: Give the new congressional select committee investigating Benghazi his daily intelligence briefings that show exactly what he was told.

There is precedent for doing so. In 2004, at the request of the 9/11 Commission, President George W. Bush declassified and publicly released the President’s Daily Brief (PDB) delivered to him before the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. No sitting president had ever declassified a PDB while still in office. But Bush did it anyway, releasing the report titled “Bin Laden determined to attack inside the U.S.” It warned that the FBI had detected “patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings” but contained no actionable intelligence that could have stopped the 9/11 attacks from happening.

What’s good enough for Bush should be good enough for Obama. Congress should ask the president to follow precedent and release the PDBs he received in the days after the Benghazi attack.

Hmm...., now that's a point made. Does anyone really believe that this "Most Transparent Evah" administration would do a silly thing like that? Holder's DOJ, IMHO, Obama and his newly appointed attorney will claim 'Executive Privilege' on all documentation in the White House offices. I'm sure that there's a shredding party scheduled so that when May 21st arrives there won't be any information available. Maybe there'll be a fire, something to cover their butts.

Can't be done. Obama was AWOL from Presidential Daily Briefings during the week preceding Benghazi, and thus received none. If memory serves, he was busy fundraising.

Obama went to bed. We all know this happened. Maybe he was with Reggie Love, but he was in bed regardless.

How do we know that Obama went to bed during the Benghazi attacks? Honestly, I don't think we know what Obama was doing during that time.

No, I don't see this as a problem, because we don't want the terrorists to know everything about how the President deals with situations. There needs to be some secrets we keep from them. I felt the same way when the Democrats where demanding to know where Bush was during the 9/11 attacks. That information came out later once the information was no longer a part of national security. Given Obama's track record on dealing with terrorist attacks, I feel sure he was dealing with the situations that were taking place that night.

Obama should release all intel relating to Benghazi as soon as the missing sections of the 9-11 Report are released.

We have an entire and very thick book called the "9/11 Commission Report", 589 pages......for anyone who wants to read it.
