When questioned about the fact that muslim terrorist are about to take over Iraq, people are questioning why the Obama admin didnt see this comming. They now claim, and get this-----------we had faulty intelligence.!!!!!! When the Iraq war was started under Bush democrats went totally nuts when very few weapons of mass destruction were found. When the Bush admin said that there was an intelligence failure, the democrats didnt buy it. They just kept on calling Bush names. Now IMO I think it a total hoot that the Obama admin and democrats are using the same excuse and expect people to buy it. The fact remains that Obama's pull out is the reason for all the muslim terrorist attacks and probable take over of Iraq. In the case of Obama, as they say you cant fix stupid!!!!!
Americans who knew anything about Iraq or its history were opposed to the war on Iraq. Even broken by two decades of war and sanctions Iraq is just impossible.. Did you really think that terrorists wouldn't take over?
The Fact is no matter how long we stayed, right after we left this Civil War was going to take place all one has to do is look at the make up of the People of Iraq and they would realize that the three major groups were going to fight no matter what. Iraq is not worth one more American Solidiers Life, Period. From what I have been seeing the, Government Troops do not seem to want to fight for their own Freedom, if they are unwilling then why should we do it for them, one cannot truely gain and hold Freedom when someone else does the fighting and dieing for them.
You are right. We should have stayed in Iraq forever with about fifty thousand troops. Then we could have used Iraq as a base for Invading Iran and Syria to bring the benefits of Democracy to those who didn't want it.
We could have maintained one or two air bases in Iraq to back up the Iraq army if needed. It would have given them back bone to know that if some column of murdering muslim terrorist were approaching a city we would bomb the hell out of them. Now with no back up, they are dropping the weapons like French soldiers, and running like cowards. Face it the Obama admin is comprised of idiots when it comes to foreign policy.

What part of "WE WERE NOT WANTED THERE" do you not understand. We gave the Iraqi people freedom and they chose to excersize that freedom by not honoring our requests... If the Iraqi governement was not willing to protect the interests of OUR fighting men and women, why should we risk one more American life in defense of that government? Enough is enough.
We were wanted there, or did you forget it was that Kuwaiti girl who stood up in front of congress begging America to help save innocent Kuwaiti babies who were being thrown against hospital walls? Then the world wanted America to intervene. And if we didn't we were heartless monsters and all that crap. As it turned out she was the daughter of the Kuwaiti Ambassador. Saddam did kill plenty of people. However, when he was purging Kurds, he was still being supported by us. We've supported a lot of dictators who have killed a lot of people. That being said, sometimes, a dictator in control is preferable to attempting democracy.
Since when does the US care about such things? There are human rights abusing regimes all over the world (including us for Christ's sake) and we haven't invaded them. What was so special about Saddam? After all, he was the same dude when he was Reagan's buddy back in the 1980's, right? Do tell.

I suppose blowing them up is not the same as what Saddam did. He was doing it to be mean. We did it to bring "democracy" to the ones we did not blow up.
