Greater border traffic statistically leads to more apprehensions but statistically too more illegals get through. This was discussed at length here. A security problem which intensified should call for commitment of more resources or enhanced measures in order to check this problem rather than calling it slam dunk the system is broke and let's not have the border and instead focus on how to exploit it in key swing areas because someone has an election to win. Obama has done enough to compromise the system and now he is happy with the status quo where the system has to operate in a compromised state within the limits Obama imposed on it, and any criticism of the status quo makes Obama feel offended on grounds of being called lazy because Obama took the system thus far but won't take it back. Why not let the deportation process take its course without the age or any other preferences?
