and if you don't want to read the bible.... don't.... even if it's in the nightstand. Pretty simple concept really. it's not indoctrinating you if you don't read it.... and noone is forcing you to read it.

Because it has no place there, no more than the Koran would. . .and I bet you would understand that pretty quickly if , when you open that drawer, you would find a Koran instead of a Bible.

If you want to read the Bible. . . GREAT! Bring your own! I would rather find a good mystery book that doesn't pretend to be "the literal words of God! DUH!

I believe that, when I pay for a hotel room, every corner of the room is mine at least for the night. I tend to place my Ipad and my pill box in the drawer next to my bed. . . I no more want to see a Bible there than a Koran. I don't really like reading horror stories before going to sleep. . .and God knows that the Bible is full of those stories!

Wow! What happens when someone demands you cease storing your pills in your drawers?

I'm not sure about you. . .but usually, my pills are stored in a hotel drawer ONLY AS LONG as I occupy the room I pay for. So. . .I am the ONLY ONE who "suffer" from my pills being stored in the drawer.

If a Muslim group wants to distribute Koreans, who cares? If I saw it in a drawer, I would leave it there. It wouldn't have any impact on me. The only reason I would care is if they said that they would cut my head off if I didn't read it.

If you would rather read a good mystery, no ones stopping you from doing that either. In fact why would you worry about a book you won't read being in the same room with you?

Maybe you would care if you were one of these people who goes through life hoping to find things to be outraged about.

If the FFR and activist militant r-atheist** ignoramuses had not made inaccurate and false or at the very least misleading claims against the Christian religion, I would be neutral on the removal of bibles. Living under a government requires adhering certain rules*, our government in the USA promises its citizens the right to worship without hindrance, and seems to suggest a separation of church and state etc. So as I said I have no real problem with the removal. I even expected such things as per biblical prophesy. But the FFR group made the depreciating comment which made it a political statement, which in turn forces me to be against the FFRs agenda.

    * EXCERPT; “Living under a government requires adhering certain rules, our government in the USA…” As a rather militant and in other ways an non-traditional Zionist Christian Minister, I only obey laws etc of the USA that do not go against biblical law etc.

** For those that do not know me the 'r' prefix means radical and I use to delineate the good guys from the bad guys. When I type rIslam I am speaking usually of terrorists Islam etc.

If they're going to supply any sort of printed material to guide those who might be in need of and uplifting and guiding hand, they should put pornography in the draws. :roflol:

America was not "built on Christianity". Whatever gave you that idea?

That age is speculation as there is no definite facts . It ranges from 12 to 19 depending on the resource. What is definite is the writings in the Koran that state the age of the child.

Ah sorry to upset you train of thought but it most certainly was built on Christian values . I know you will have some kind of disguised answer but you views would be in the minority . And you also know it to be fact.

If they have the bible then why not the Koran, the Bhagvagita, the Uphanishads, the writings of Confuscious, and some Atheist books on enlightenment?

Don't you think people that require a bible every night carry their own?

And excuse the spellings to lazy to look them up again.

What values that are unique to and indicative of Christians was the country "built on", which of these values do you claim that I as an atheist do not hold? How about pointing out the Christian parts of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
