You have enough documented Democrats in that state to cause a Democratic victory, if they would all get out and vote..... Which never happens with Democrats because they invariably vote in lower percentages than their Republican counterparts.
Wendy Davis humiliated herself in the debate, has constantly humiliated herself in her campaign, and has been shown to be a compulsive liar. In other words, a dedicated Democrat politician. there are quite a few things Wendy Davis could catch but up with Gred Abbott isn't one of them.

No, it's because so many of the documented Democrats are dead, have returned to their own country, or never existed in the first place. If nothing else it will be interesting to see a state destroyed in real time as it shifts from conservative to liberal. Texas has grown so fast and so many jobs have been created there that it might have shot itself in the foot. Many of the people moving there (most people leaving California are going to Texas) are leaving failed liberal states and unfortunately they are stupid and thickheaded and will more than likely keep voting for the same party that destroyed the economies of state they emigrated from in the first place. Its kind of sad when you think about it.
Of course, and they're all brilliant, too. Not only are registered Democrats a majority but in some precincts they far outnumber to population. Amazing, that. Even running as a Democrat, Wendy Davis would be an embarrassment to responsible people.
