Well first off, if they "aren't doing nothing" then they are doing something, learn double negatives. Secondly, what exactly do you propose they do? Many of them are speaking out against violent Muslims. I hear this argument against Muslims ALL THE TIME now, but nobody has ever been able to give me a reasonable solution that Muslims can actually implement to stop the violent ones. I think that blaming all Muslims for the small minority that are violent is as ignorant as blaming all Americans for the small minority that commit gun crimes.

Aside from that you act as if the revolution of the US was a holy act that some Jewish person took part in. It was a war between a colony and their imperial master. More specifically, between American aristocracy and British aristocracy (under a monarchy, of course).

No. . . Mooslims are few and far between here in West Central Florida.

Although that Palestinian teenager who was allegedly pummeled by the Israeli soldiers for "doing nothing" (according to the Palestian's family) does live here in Tampa. However, the family did state on the local news that their angel of a boy was just minding his own business when the alleged pummeling took place.

Just as all parents who swear their teenage sons are "gentle giants" (even when caught red handed on video), so too do Palestinian parents.

 

Do you have any Muslim friends? Do you talk to any Muslims regularly? Have you bothered to ask them? Seeing as how there are virtually no Muslim newscasters (the VAST majority are some form of Christian), you probably aren't going to hear much from Muslims on television. If you looked on twitter, thousands of innocent Muslims have spoken out against ISIS, using the hashtag #notinmyname. Maybe if you looked for the Muslims speaking out against ISIS, rather than watching the news, who ONLY focuses on ISIS (which is news that sells), then you would see that the majority of Muslims are not violent people.

This woman is clearly a bigot, but honestly, I'd be ok with scaling back anti-discriminatory laws. Freedom of Association would allow a lot of business owners to display their prejudice openly, and as a result, much of the public would boycott them.

As things currently stand, you never really know for sure which business owners are bigots and which aren't. I'd rather not accidentally fund a bigot.

 

lol I didn't use him as an "expert source", I used him to explain the view that Fox news has on Muslims. Seeing as how he uses clips DIRECTLY FROM FOX, I'd say that it proves my point about Fox News' point of view. That is one of the inherent problems with Freedom of Association, but let's look at this situation a little closer for a second.

Let's say you're Jewish and you live in a town that might choose to do this if given the ability to do so. Don't you think you'd probably already notice that said city would be good to move out of?

I guess what I'm saying is, if a city already harbors a level of bigotry strong enough to possibly do something like what you suggest, then you've probably already had to experience negative things there that would make you want to leave anyway.

I'm not saying it's right, but I wouldn't stick around in a place like that as a minority, with or without anti-discriminatory laws in place.
