Your link fails, but I am sure this is partisan.

Tennessee and Oklahoma are the only ones with decent policy from a liberty perspective, but I'm guessing you mean they're mostly Republican/Southern.

Yes, except for New Mexico they are all very red. In all honesty they were sh!tholes before the GOP took over. But their policies have not improved the situation. The top ten states most dependent on the Federal government (again, except for New Mexico) are also red notwithstanding their constant screaming about the tyranny of the same evil Federal government. I find it ironic. Tragic in a way, but still ironic.

With the exception of Tennessee and Oklahoma, they all have very mediocre economic policy from a laissez-faire perspective.

Don't make the mistake of taking the GOP at their word - a lot of the time they're the ones running very anti-free market policies, just look at Reagan. Alright in some areas, but the complete opposite of a fiscal conservative in reality.

Yet South Carolina has the top 3 fastest growing cities on the East Coast ( Charleston, Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head") Maybe the people moving there didn't get your memo.

Hey brother, don't shoot ol' Nat. He's only the link providin' messenger.

I will point out that the list is of 10 States With The Worst Quality Of Life not 10 Fastest Growing Cities On The East Coast. Small distinction I realize but a distinction nevertheless.

Obviously the only solution to this problem will be to invade these states, cease control and begin an intensive libra-forming operation. It may take a while to rid them of their unfortunate red infestation...But there are no challenges too intimidating for those mighty Blue Forces.

Agree, I will be taking advantage of land and home prices in NW Arkansas here shortly. I just visited the area again and was amazed to see the large retirement communities moving in with beautiful homes on 5+ acres. Money also follows to support goods and services.

It depends on what stage of life you are in and how you plan. Like most things in life.

I can pretty well assure you that you won't be seeing any volunteers from up here in Wash/Ore. We're perfectly happy with all of "those people" staying down there with their violent culture and disdain of education.

California is the conundrum. It is one of the most financially powerful states in America and is ranked as the world's seveth power.

But half of its people are on government welfare of some sort.

Try the link now. I have re-enabled your computer now that you have put your pants back on. Don't do that again.

First I must offer up an apology for misspelling 'Seize'. I am presently whipping my back with a cat-o-nine tail.
I think that is the duty of the Wash/Ore Utopia to aid their brothers in the war against the 'Red Scourge', If for no other reason than the possibility that you may someday become infected

The South doesn't need or want any of your "volunteers". They are doing ok without you. How many presidents have come from Wash/Ore? Enough said....

What's so good about the Left Coast? Fires, mudslides, drought, earthquakes, liberals...Sounds to me like YOU already have the scourge...don't infect the rest of us!

Yes, we're a veritable themepark of natural disasters. Excluding the liberals. They're man made disasters.

OECD rankings - another fail for you. OECD (the UN) is not objective and their rankings reflect their political bias. For example, OECD places a high weight on state run (govt run) health care but low weight on access to care, and uses mortality metrics to judge health care effectiveness but does not consider lifestyle, and weights firearm control as a positive, and uses total crime statistics and not crime based on location or mitigating factors.

UN subjective reports are biased and worthless. You would know that if in your zeal to use a biased and discrefited source to blindly slam people you actually took a moment to think.

Not surprisingly, another fail for you. You are consistent, but after all you are probably getting paid to troll the web and plant propaganda.

They didn't mention it for every state, but I would bet those poverty levels go hand-in-hand with poor educational opportunities. Educational apartheid.

The poor migrate to red states because that is where they find the best opportunity for quality of life. If you look at where all the wealth is centered in this nation you will see it is all in liberal strongholds such as LA, NY, San Francisco. They do not take care of their poor which is why you will also find the largest percentages of homeless in the liberal regions.

Liberals want to hand out a paycheck every month and kick the people back to the street whereas republicans want to give these people an opportunity to earn their own paychecks.

Liberals like to give people a fish then pat themselves on the back about how noble they are while conservatives are trying to teach the people how to fish by themselves.

So send us your poor and your hungry and we will take care of them while the liberals spit on you as they walk by in their Armani suits on their way to their next Hollywood premier.
