Glad to be of service :) When one is waiting in the line-up at the Grocery store it is rare to find a copy of the "Economist" or some other serious publication. That is where I catch up on celebrity gossip as found in reputable publications such as "The Star" and "National Enquirer".

Any of the networks should only be used as generalized information to find topics for a more in-depth search. Just like how we researchers use Wiki. We don't read the content they post but their sources are the best place to start researching deeper.

I hit up Fox in the morning to get an overview of what issues are going on then run to at least 10 other sites which gives me a basic understanding of the issue and who the players are. From there you can dig deeper with less well known sources to color in that picture even better.

As I stated earlier, MSNBC is horrible because oftentimes they simply do not report an issue if it is a negative on the democrats. At least Fox will report them all.

Beats Rachel Maddow at the same time.Unless you enjoy that butch look.
I mean, things could be worse for the male sex.If Megyn Kelly walks around
like she does ever so often on a special Friday presentation then the divorce rate
would climb numerically. Her gams { legs } are to die for.Or divorce.

Rachel Maddow started me away from MSNBC but Al Sharpie did them in with me. I will once in a blue moon switch over to see if Melissa Harris-Perry is making sense for a brief moment or not, but otherwise not so much. Even MHP stacks her show with so many minority commentators that it ends up being an apologist orgy more so than a discussion most of the time.

They aren't even remotely similar. Fox is #1 in cable news and MSNBC is #26---dead last.

It couldn't be better than that Al Gore network could it ? I mean he was the Vice President so he must have been making sure everything was on the up and up . He must have been extremely honest , of highest morality and impeccable integrity , right . I can't see a democrats not having those attributes ! He surely must have put the American people first on all things reported , right.

The number one beer in America is Budweiser. It tastes like (*)(*)(*)(*). The reason one drinks it so cold is so one can tell the difference between it and urine. A similar analogy could be made for Fox.

Sorry, but that bad analogy doesn't fly. It's been #1 for years. Obviously a lot of people like the taste of Bud.

    I am new here MOD EDIT>>>OFF TOPIC<<<.

I am actually more conservative than liberal in my thinking but I never miss Morning Joe on MSNBC, and very seldom watch Fox. I admit I need to search a lot to get both sides of any story. Usually, if I hear something on a noted liberal site, I will check the noted conservative sites on the same story to try and get balance.

I might suggest to someone like you who seems to want to practice sarcasm, that you work a bit harder. Fox is #1 simply because people enjoy that network more. While they lean right, at least they are not so obvious. MSNBC is so dedicated to the WH message it is hard to watch.

There are other options besides uninformed and easily led. It could be people who honestly and sincerely hate the U.S. and want to see Barack Obama fundamentally transform it into...something else. We've had polls showing a majority of liberals aren't proud of the U.S. We know how liberals feel about the military and about opening the border to unrestricted and unregulated immigration.

No, I think there are people who voted twice for Obama because they actually agree with him.

MSNBC is sucking wind. As noted in a New York Times piece, it’s suffering a bruising in the ratings around the clock: Rachel Maddow in the third quarter of…

That's exactly what I'm saying. The number one beer tastes like horse urine, yet it's still number one. There are great beers that don't even come close to Bud in sales. The analogy, since it went over your head, was that a ranking in no way reflects quality. In general, the content from Fox is more suited to simpletons. Not much depth. Chris Hayes is simply over the head of many Fox-type viewers. Goofy ol' lying Hannity is not.

Fox News is the ONLY station that caters to the right, which means they will obviously have higher viewership and better ratings than the rest of the major news stations with varying degrees of bias (MSNBC being the worst on the left side of the spectrum). I'm more "left" but I'm not an MSNBC fan, nor am I a Fox fan. I'd rather get my news from more unbiased sources like the BBC.

MSNBC doesn't appear to be too concerned about the feelings of the posters on this board. As far as I know they are making money since their production costs are lower then fox and/or CNN's and its all about money folks.

I don't drink beer, Domer, but I'll except you as an expert witness on the taste of horse urine.

I watch Fox less than I watch CNN and MSNBC and I consider them a news organization like any of the others. I mostly get my TV news off PBS though-99% of the time.

Actually I usually go to MSNBC because they usually have the quickest footage. Fox is slow on breaking news and CNN is pretty useless until 6-12 hours in.

Nor would I on any of the other networks moreso than any other. A rational person knows to take any prediction with a grain or two of salt.
