So, they told the truth, and the people who realized it themselves sent the message at the voting booths. America doesn't like what you guys have been doing with the place, it's as simple as that really.

So didn't the left say if the right wins there would be ferguson on the street across America? Where are the riots and looting?
I think even the poor could see the left wings war on the middle class.

Actually if Obama were really cynical he would not veto the repeal of the ACA. That would assure Republican defeat in 2016

this country, like all others, consists mainly of a bunch of self-serving idiots. yes, the nation is predominantly a bit on the conservative side. no, the liberal establishment is by no means a thing of the past. the aca will not simply disappear, it's gone too far for that and has given the state inroads into the private sector that they will not give up. bambam will continue to be the face and guiding light of our foreign policy, a policy of appeasement and weakness, and he will continue to alienate our traditional allies and strengthen our foes. the flames of racism have been fanned anew and the nation, more divided than at any time since the civil war, may never recover from the divisions fostered by the democrat agenda, certainly not within our lifetimes. the small strides forward our economy has made will soon disappear, thanks to our crushing debt load, failing infrastructure and the damage inherent in portions of the aca that have yet to be brought into play. our middle-class, redefined by post-war america to include common labor, has imploded and will probably never fully return.

we believed our own press, that's the problem. we twisted the idea of american exceptionalism and expected everyone to be treated as if they were already exceptional. we warped the notion of tolerance, attempting to redefine normality to include every aberrant action of which mankind is capable. we have come to expect comfort and success, avoiding the necessity of pain and inconvenience. we blow this way and that, following whatever wind promises us utopia and shunning the harsh realities of of struggling to survive.

Did you pay attention to the news last night? The Democrats were completely and totally repudiated. They were kicked, beaten, battered and curb stomped. This was a wave election. This was a mandate election. America hates the ACA and they will reward the party that gets rid of it.

No . What the voters want is you and all your ilk gone. In fact, a great many want you and your pals in jail for what you did to this nation.

Do not count on that, depends on the content of the Bill. Do not believe for a second that the GOP has a free pass, they do not. The American people want the government to get back to work and the games to end, the spot light will be on the Congress not the Dems, do what is expected by the People and the GOP will stand a good chance in 2016, don't and the least of your concerns will be Hillary but holding on to the gains you achieved last night.

Here, here... Far too much truth for the average Joe to digest. Without any doubt far too much truth for the usual left side dunces to even glimpse the reality of it all..

Delusional Thinking. The People want the Government to get back to doing their job, that includes the Republicans. A midterm win does not equate to a mandate, that is simply something Cons want to believe, it equates to the voters being sick and tired of the game playing in Washington and lack of progress not to mention Dems do not turn out in large numbers in midterms. So go ahead believe the GOP is some Mandate from the people to do whatever they wish and once again learn nothing and get stomped in 2016 for being slow learners.

I hope Harry has learned his lesson about leading , let's hope the party in charge does the right thing . Being a 3rd party myself I like to watch it swing back and forth and every win some declare the democrats or republicans are finished but in reality they need each other.

Kind of like General Custer after realizing the battle at Little Bighorn was a bad idea declaring the need for peace talks.

    Day late, dollar short.

How so? This election and 2010 were referendums on the ACA, and the results are pretty clear.

Your statement would only be true if the mooching class reaches the majority. In which case we (edit: as a nation) are toast anyway.

No. That is not what I am saying at all. Having the Republicans in charge of the House, Senate, and Presidency could be just as bad as when the Democrats had complete control in 2009 and 2010. It couldn't be much worse. Democratic control was a national disaster which unleashed Obamacare and the Dodd-Frank Act onto the American public. That should never happen again. But I do not recall you personally making any comments to the effect that it was bad in any sense of the word, Comrade. Perhaps you are guilty of situational civic responsibility. You seemed overjoyed when we had one party rule and your party was the one in power. Perhaps I am wrong. If you can provide me with even a single post where you decried single party rule in 2009 and 2010, then I will change my opinion about you.
